Footballers Lives Matter.

We need a march on Parliament with placards and stuff & a megaphone to shout pithy slogans that’ll make the Rozzers and MP’s take a step back and realise that Footballers lives do matter .

There you go job done.

Sotonians, solving all of todays problems one at a time

I hope they’re marching for Dalian in St. Louis, Missouri etc etc*

I could believe this.

I do however value my, presently fragile, health over actually going to check whether or not this is real.

It’s a pretty poor show if Sotonian’s can’t call on our own “borderline racist” to add tasteless forum comments.

Do we know anyone who comes close? :grimacing:

i find that Quite Funny, although in fairness I find everything Quite Funny. Who was it who said it on Saintsweb? I owe them one Upvote.

Dunno that it’s real. But I’m going for Sour Mash or Whitey Grandad.

It’s sad that someone can make the journey from professional footballer to being tasered in the street in the early hours.

I’ve actually taken a look over there and was surprised to find that so far, TCK is doing them an immense disservice.

There are four posts, none of which have taken the anticipated form.

There’s lots of fine posters over there, but etc, etc. Honestly, the emotional energy required to plough through the verbose wankers is not worth the effort of thinking of a response. Think the admins are ok though.

Sir Anthony Jay, writer of Yes, Minister has died. A fantastic comedy, one of the best in my opinion.

Always there whatever the weather in my youth.

Yes, Minister was a masterpiece - absolutely timeless.

He stalked you?

Maybe I should rephrase that to…he was always on the telly doing the weather forecast when I was nipper.

No stalking inferred.

Nice man…did a lot to support the local MS Society…RIP Trevor The Weather.

Gene Wilder has taken his last breath.

Always thought Blazing Saddles was his best film. Well, my favourite anyway. The farting around the campfire scene had me in tears…of laughter

Gene Wilder was a superb comic actor - just watch his early collaborations with Mel Brooks and you’ll see how good he was. The Producers, Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein are brilliant films, and WIlder’s presence was a major reason why in all of them. He played great cameo roles and was good in crap films as well - his part in Woody Alllen’s Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex but were Afraid to Ask stands out as a terrific example of the former.

RIP Gene.
