Jerry Doyle, a.k.a Michael Garibaldi in Babylon 5, dies at 60. Great write up from JMS here.
When it came to politics, Jerry Doyle and I disagreed on, well, pretty much everything. Politically, Jerry was just to the right of Attila the Hun. There is a line in Babylon 5 where his character, MichaelGaribaldi, suggests that the way to deal with crime is to go from electric chairs to electric bleachers. That line is quintessential Jerry Doyle. I say this with confidence because I overheard him saying it at lunch then stole it for the show.

I had the pleasure of meeting Kenny Baker a few years ago, and our meeting generated quite a funny story, but it needs the actions, so ask me when you next see me.

According to the Daily Fail he was 83 & the BBC says he was 81. Still, a good innings, but I’ll be pissed-off if I cark it that early…
