Tinky Winky has passed away aged 52. I am not sure if that is a good age for a Teletubby or not?

Who?

Elmo the barman in Brush strokes

Hugh Masekela, the South African trumpet player has passed on aged 78. I saw him at Glasonbury in the early 1980s. He was at the forefront in the Anti-Apartheid struggle, a great musician and a great, brave man.

Clicking on the link takes to to the website where you then get blitzed by shit ads.

Don’t go all pap on me please. Your “who” comment doesn’t work because, unlike the Armfield tweet, my announcement doesn’t say “he will never be forgotten”.

youve ruined my excellent comedy. Well done.

Mark E Smith has died

The Fall were a bit of a marmite band. Saw them a couple of times in Brighton in the '80’s. Can’t really recall their stuff from back then tbf.

What were the “bizarre and rare” medical issues he suffered?

Weren’t they a favourite of John Peel? Don’t recall any of their stuff.
