I was there for 22 years SB. I started out as a clerk in the Circulation Dept., then became a Circulation Rep covering North London and finally became the National Sales Manager. When my boss wasnt there I got to sit in on the Board meetings and went to the Editorial meetings everday. It was a fasinating job. For all those of you at Uni in the 80s and 90s I was responsible for the Guardian goody bags given away at Freshers Fayres and also for the Student Discount Scheme by which students could get their copy cheaper. Happy days!

The Kinks bassist Jim Rodford has died at the age of 76.
I am sure Bletch will miss him
