The advantage we have as saints fans is that weā€™re used to this kind of shit. This is the equivalent of us finishing 6th and wanting the champions league when the reality is that we over achieved.

Ian Wright has just said weā€™ve played the best team weā€™ve faced and i think that says an awful lot. We got through playing very average/ poor teams and as soon as someone turned up with something about them we capitulated.

The worst part is that it was 100% self inflicted. That was ours for the taking, and we pissed it away.

Donā€™t get me wrong, Croatia deserved to win. But it was entirely our fault. Post the half time whistle we went missing completely.
