I go there most years, wouldn’t bother with less than a long weekend tbh.
We get the cheap ferry deals and as we’re 5 minutes from the port…Mrs BTripz and the kids like the ferry trip…

So, basically, he is saying that our Government may be getting it right by accident…
…But missing one crucial pint… that of protecting the elderly an vulnerable… which we did not do… the best way to do that is not spread the fucker around … and that means lockdown until the peak has gone and the R is well below 0.5…

Without reading it… is this not an ‘effect’ we would expect… eg the virus has already killed / infected the most vulnerable, so new infections will be in those better able to resist it?
Same as death rate in many countries is now BELOW seasonal average as those that would be expected to die over next few months were already sadly taken early by COVID-19
