Debate in Gov circles here to introduce Covid Passports to get into Hotels Bars etc.
Nope, not an APP an actual physical PhotoID card

Sigh.

Looking more & more unlikely Grandkids will be coming over for HT in October.

Another tool of tyranny to add to the set!

Essential reading :-

More essential reading:-

When will people stop going on about ā€˜personal choice’ as if that is somehow more significant than the benefit to society as a whole? Its symptomatic of a generation that seems obsessed with self, a selfish right to do as you please.

Someone else made a great comparison. If you knew there was a restaurant whose chef did not wash their hands after having a shit, touching raw chickens and then chopping and mixing in your salad, you would have a choice as to whether to eat there… but what if you did not know? Its the same with vaccination passports… they are there so you know when you visit some place whether all are vaccinated or not…

If you chose to visit countries with infectious diseases, its not your choice to be vaccinated or not because you could bring back infection… Likewise it should not be a choice if its a mather of public health.

These kids are ignorant…and the attitude they have missed 2 years of clubbing ? Jeez what self centered shallow idiocy

What also struck me about this young woman is her arrogance in thinking that her doubts about the long term safety of the vaccines are valid. How can she think her opinion is meaningful against the accumulated judgement of people who have spent their working lives specialising in this area? She is a psychology student for f#cks sake!

I saw this article and thought pretty much what you’ve posted.

YoungAdult#1 & #2 (along with all their friends) are pro-jab.

They’re frustrated about the impact Covid has had on their social lives but would rather be safe than sorry.

Again is was one of veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery few spectators at St Marys today wearing a mask. I thought I was in 0.5% of the crowd at the Saints/ManUntd game but today I was in the 0.005% of the crowd.

When asked why I was wearing one I said, as I have Covid it seemed the least I could do.

Oh how we laughed. :lou_facepalm_2:

Tbf it’s not just footie - spent last week in Centerparcs and only saw the occasional mask wearer.

They’re pretty useless if you go swimming tbf.

Free entry to nightclubs for ageing divorcƩe Tories no doubt

It’s a real shame as I planning on using that to pre-filter who I should be spending my time with, because as we all know, not all Brexiteers are anti-vaxxers, but all anti-vaxxers are Brexiteers.

At least with this I got to mix with the more ā€œintelligentā€ Brexiteers, not the knuckle dragging racists.
