:covid_19: 😷 🏥 Corona Virus the thread for all your fears ❓

It will sort itself, and EU will have also received Indian manufactured doses - it is the same so its more to do with Manufacturing process / GMP etc… I would not worry. Worst case is go and add on a Pfizer

How is this even legal?

I wonder if they mean working from home as opposed to actually catching it and being laid up

I suspect they’ll quickly find it isn’t

Says specifically turn off NHS Tracking App so not evel allowed to isolate.

BTW If you want to download your proof of vaccination you can get it from the NHS website here: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/

You can get it in pretty well any format. Lady Slowlane thought it would be useful to have a printed copy so she clicked the appropriate box and it arrived this morning after 4 days; all you need is your NHS number.

Dear fvcktards designing Covid Test web sites.
Did you know that there are millions of UK Passport holders who actually live overseas?
And that their permanent address may NOT be in UK?

2 hours in website is questioning how I have an EU Covid vax certificate

So where is everyone at with the news that masks could be made a personal choice?

The union seem to want to retain them everywhere if you read the headlines

For myself, I cannot wait to see the back of them - particularly as i walked half way to town before realising my fucking mask was on my fucking desk

I will wear one in shops if that is what the shop wants. I don’t use public transport much but would probably wear one when I do.

“…It is understood the restriction banning pub-goers from ordering a drink directly at the bar will be dropped…”

This is the one thing I don’t miss when going to pubs. Much more civilized having table service.

Well its tricky… if we are all honest, and recognise that masks are not just there to try and protect you, but to protect others if you are carrying the fucker, I would prefer they spoke more about responsibility and less about choice. They should list situations where its is not just recommended but common decency to protect others (and not be so selfish) eg, in shops, indoors in public spaces etc.

What worries me more right now is we still have 20mil odd not vaccinated fully in which this virus can continue to mutate… Ideally we keep doing all we can to stop the spread until all are vaccinated…

I am praying that pubs keep the table service

Who wants to go back to the days of being four deep at the bar listlessly wave a handful of notes about in the vain hope of attracting the attention of the bar staff who have ignored your end of the bar for twenty minutes

Yeah, not just there.

Went to a Building Supplies store.
Both masked up
4 sales guys no masks but behind a perspex screen hanging in mid air.
8 other lads all sitting round giving Mrs P_F typical builders abude and getting it back from her.
All mid 30 types.
Not a mask in sight…
Vaccine take up stalling here also, we had the 100 quid every 2 days Lottery with 200k every month. Still take up rate is dropping.
They simply see no threat. Unlike us deaths at their age are very rare

The screen was in mid air not the guys
:woman_facepalming: :man_facepalming:

It does feel that there is going to be the same tribalism over mask wearing that we saw with brexit when the mask situation becomes a personal choice
