My money is now on a panel without any left of centre views.

I wonder if all the far right, rent-a-cunt voices that Question Time employed to turn up time and time again will have a claim against the corporation?

Solidarity.

So who else is concerned that we will have a (another) global financial crash ?

I’m sure those durty cunds have been up to their old tricks. The assets they seem to have will be insured against collateral debt obligations written down against a bank in Peru’s ability to underwrite the debt.

All of the stress tests that the regulators designed were supposedly better than worse case scenarios.

We’ll see.

The 'smart/cunts/folks will have got out early and will have made a killing selling short whilst pension funds plummet, but they will recover eventually… (the markets were due a bit of a corrective bump)… so my pension advisor tells me…giphy

Interesting and clever way of ensuring folks dont clear shelves of vital stuff…First bottle of hand sanitise = approx 5 Euro, subsequent bottles 140Euro!

California saying schools likely to stay shut until summer. So that’s it, they’re done for the academic year. I’m currently signed off work after a bout of illness. I’m on immunosuppressive drugs and classified as high risk. I’m self medicating with wine and whiskey. I’m also possibly infected with the Corona. Tomorrow will be a better judge of that but I’ve had a dry cough and tickly throat for a couple of days but no temperature.

The whole thing is fucking bizarre. It’s like living in a film. None of this seems real at all. At the start I was very blasĆ© but things seem to have got very shit very quickly. I didn’t leave the house today. Tomorrow I’m meant to be going to look at some builders past work and then maybe visit a shed place. I’m not sure if that is normal behaviour at the best of times let’s alone now. The only place where I feel like I know what I’m doing is the toilet.

As mentioned in a previous post, it worrying that there is no opposition to this. Cummings is fucking Dr Evil manipulating behind the scenes and this crisis is a clear opportunity for him to cement a more draconian and autocratic legislation… two years? Does anyone see them rescinding these powers down the line? If so why not make it 6mo the with an option to extend?

How long before folks with colds are ā€˜held in isolation’ whilst they wait 4-6 days for a test result or longer when resources are stretched?

Cummings and his disposable cuntish ideology, is like a wet dream come true for Boris and his pals playing power games like they were still at Eton…

It was predicted this was going to happen after HMRC got utterly schooled by the HoL the day before - they just need an excuse.

Quite funny really as the delay is tantamount to admitting that it was going to hurt the economy, rather than increase revenues for HMRC.

Let’s hope the damage hasn’t already been done.

Stay safe @Fatso - I think many of us have been blasƩ with this to start with, but are now understanding the full scale of these issues.

We should now be in lock down, and I for one am looking to start that.

If a company is fighting for it life (and lots are) and your staff were not on 0 hours, then if they were less than two years service, they would be fired immediately to get the cost out of the business

It is really fucking shitty at the moment

The landscape shifts daily and from a personal perspective I go to work wondering what pile of shit I am going to have to shovel today.

No one wants to lose staff but you have to make decisions so that firstly there is a business at the other end of this and secondly you have preserved the jobs of as many as you can

We were here before in 2008 and it was fucking rubbish then - it’s worse now

So far we can avoid doing anything too drastic, but if it gets worse all bets are off

Well, I’m self employed so no work = no money. I also happen to be a pessimistic type of character by nature.

But I can’t say I’m particularly panicked yet. We have no idea how long this episode is going to last, every cunt with a fucking facebook account is an armchair expert while the actual real experts are playing it by ear while saying as much. Imho, the first thing that ought to be locked down is social cunting media, I can’t see any way that it isn’t fuelling the wave of panic buying. When I become president of the world, zuckerberg’s going to be the first fucker up against the wall. :rage:
