Yes there was a report earlier in the month pointing that way. The Pfizer is used as the example as itās been used and returning results about a month in advance of the Oxford AZ but as both work in the same way they think all vaccines will suppress transmission.

So where do people go afterwards?
Equally, while you jabbed up types may want to travel, other countries who canāt travel need staycation.

Seen the reports from Israelll saying Sympomatic spread is reduced.
Now we need to know if Asymptomatic is also reduced.
More likely yo catch it from someone who doesnāt know they have itā¦
Thatās going to be very difficult to measure. If youāve been vaccinated and then are assymptonmatically infected how would you know to get tested?
Is there much evidence for current asymptomatic spread?
I donāt see why there would be a difference in vaccine effectiveness in stopping transmission when comparing symptomatic and asymptomatic people.
The key difference in transmission is asymptomatic people donāt know they have it so donāt take the same precautions as someone with symptoms
Which makes it doubly dangerous.
Iām trying to get people to view the bigger picture & not focus on just getting back in a pub.
IF you are jabbed and you can spread the mutant virus unknowingly ie Asymptomatic then countries with slower vaccine rates wont let you travel.
It is doing my head in that friends on FB are doing NO VACCINE PASSPORT petitions yet asking me about taking them on trips here in the summer. Simply cannot comprehend why I tell them NO.

Hmm, concerning that it gives leverage to some of the conspiracy theory groups but I am surprised that the Dutch, to me, have always been ultra cautious. They are the only country I know where you have to wear a crash helmet if you are driving an open top car (or at least you used to).
