No in both cases there is no citation of sources … that is the issue. I dont have an agenda on this apart from trying to get folks to look at the actual evidence, rather than treating opinion pieces and ‘reports’ that dont cite sources as fact. Truth is, even if we dont like it… Without private sector involvement, we would not be where we are with the vaccines. Given the cost of AZ vaccine at £4 a pop means at double dose everyone in UK, cost is approx £260m = add in a few extra quid for the pfizer vaccine cost and distribution lets say 500m… which is nothing relative to the 175bn annual NHS budget or covered two weeks worth of EU contributions we no longer have to pay…
Worrying about private investors making money post pandemic when they invested in the solution seems churlish at best…
