Save two for us…Lady Slowane is getting more impatient by the hour.

This afternoon she rightfully said, “Do they realise who we are?”

Over 1600 deaths today (1100 7 day average)

33k new cases - at least that is heading in the right direction

Going to be a bumpy couple of weeks

I think a lot of those are deaths not recorded from previous days.

Deaths will be the last thing to drop. SGH modelling now confident that numbers are on a steep decline. I would post the graph but I might get in twubble. All going in the right direction. Feb looking good.

C’mon, you missed the third option, which I am writing in.

Wait a bit to see if it’s safe.

We’ve been in full lockdown for a bit now and while I know this thing has a three week tail, we should in theory, start to see numbers start to go down in the next couple of weeks.

I’m going nowhere. I work from home all the time, am 100% rigid about masks and hand washing when I get home from anywhere and anywhere is my street or the hospital. There’s risk. My youngest still works in TESCO so she’s around a lot of people.

I see less risk in waiting a few weeks to see what happens. I don’t think that is an extreme position.
