Don’t blame them

They have to make a split second decision and some cunt lawyer two years down the line spends months dissecting it

I would suggest those in the legal profession be put to the back of the queue

I see Lawrence Fox is earning the respect of his peers again.

This time he has proudly displayed, on social media, his face mask exempt lanyard, which he purchased from Amazon.

Sort of undermines those that are properly exempt.

Can someone tell me why he hasn’t had a visit from the plod given his, very public, violations of lockdown advice?

He’s a celeb ain’t he…he’s exempt.

So we are being ask to bail out Eurostar, majority owned by SNCF

Now I have no problem doing so provided a big lump of equity is given to the govt

That should be the same for any other bings given to the airlines - here is the loan, repayment in full but you also have to hand over 30+%

BUT.
WE.
LEFT.
EUROPE.

Ah here we are

“In a separate interview with Sophy Ridge on Sky News, Raab was unable to guarantee that all of those who have already received a first dose of vaccine would get their second within the recommended 12-week timescale – though he said he was “quietly confident” it could be done.”

Quietly confident. Great!

Viruses mutate.
Yes 1 dose gives some immunity
But am I the only cynic on the planet who thinks it could mutate itself and make the vaccines ineffective?

Probably not. But do you remember 15 or 20 years ago when we were all going to die because antibiotics were about to stop working?

And from him on the BBC

“… Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab told the BBC that the UK was making “good progress” in ensuring every adult was offered a vaccine by September and “if it can be done more swiftly, that’s a bonus”…”

September!?!?

Easy enough to reconfigure the vaccines if they begin to be ineffective. Would take 6 weeks they reckon.

Given that the media are big fans of “gotcha” journalism, I wouldn’t guarantee it either. The only guarantee is that they had someone in the wings that didn’t receive a 12 week jab and they were all set to shout “Aha, your lying . How can we accept anything…blah blah”

Maybe if the journos reported news instead of trying to write the news, it would be different
