When they cut off your wristband, does that mean you can no longer use the pool, buffet areas and free bar?

I wish that was the case. Pool has been shut since April buffet is shite and bar has never been free. I would be a lot happier if my all inclusive was like you suggested.
Apparently the French managed to vaccinate 100 people in the first three days of their vaccination programme
At that rate they will be done at some point in the 8th millennium
The Welsh police have been turning away Londoners out for a trip in the Brecons including a minibus full of mixed households
Why are they not all getting a big fine?
Surely they need to impose this - if you are 30 miles from your house without a valid reason £200, 50 miles - £500, 100 miles £1000

my friend who works in NHS in London who was seeing people face to face had Covid in March. He managed to get a vaccination by waiting after work by the vaccination booth at the hospital next door and waited to see if there was any spare at end of day. So if your other half isn’t on a list to have it soon, may be worth a try.

When I see stories like this I just get the feeling they are being put out there so we’re already softened up for the inevitable - a full lockdown.

The Spanish are keeping a register of those who are offered but refuse the vaccine
The Israelis are issuing a green passport meaning that you can escape quarantine, go to restaurants etc - hence the high take up there

I wasn’t doubting you or the rise in cases @DellBoy , more the way in which the inevitable is drip fed in advance - it applies to most things “announced” by the government these days.

Was up early, planning on a pootle round town & a haircut/beard trim.
Then seeing how fast cases are rising with the new strain and wondering if it is worth the risk of sitting unmasked for an hour…
Sure, infection rates here are down 60% or so since before Xmas but the testing rates are also down that much.
This ain’t getting better any time soon.
Interesting here 100% of vaccines going to health care workers, emergency services. Registration for over 60’s only starts after 13th Jan.
You say that when i was getting the wrist band cut off this morning it was in an old military hospital hundreds of people going in but only what seemed to be a tenth of the people coming out with the correct annex 17 forms. Where did everybody else go ? And Labuan is famous for two things me being in quarantine here and a chimney that nobody appears to know what it was built for.
