I see Blair has put his retirement to good use and has become an expert in vaccines. Apparently we should only administer one dose not two so that more people get something - even though this has never been tested

I’ve found myself subconsciously steering sharply away from anyone not in a mask or who looks/sounds even faintly unhealthy. My guess is that if I had any symptoms of any sort myself, no matter how minor, I’d probably panic about having contracted it.
Hancock is giving a briefing this afternoon when he is expected to give details of tier changes from Boxing day. The Times’ political editor, “this is what i’ve heard in full”, includes:
From Tier 2 to Tier 4.
Suffolk.
Hampshire.
West and East Sussex.
No change in Liverpool, still in tier 2 which is a bit surprising as cases have risen by over 60% since the beginning of the month. Probably part of the plan to cull a few more Scousers!
