Any vulnerable person can contact their local authority and there are people to coordinate help, bringing food / medicine around etc. Not ideal I know and we shouldnât be here but there is support out there.

Yes they did. Just like they created the virus pots on the streets with their 10PM curfew. Human nature is going to do the rest and there have already been plenty of people saying they were going to break the rules.
In this case, people didnât break the rules. They got the fuck out before the rules came in. No travel from Tier 4 areas? Well guess what? People travelled out of areas before they became Tier 4.
And letâs not forget. Most of the spread has taken place in the two places the government definitely said were COVID safe - schools and workplaces.
There are plenty of Londoners that have been working from home and havenât seen a soul for months. They are not at risk and they are not a risk. What the government has done is treat London and the entire South East as if itâs all equally risky.
Itâs bollocks, a failure of information and no good reason for most people, who have been locked down, to be apart at Christmas. A proper track and trace system would have rendered this unnecessary.

Small point of order. Tier 3 were not meant to travel into lower tiers. We were tier 3 yesterday evening. However, I get people werenât that sure as I reminded someone today that we werenât meant to travel and they had been out of London to see family.
Itâs been hard to keep up.
Very much needed someone/some people who are much better at dealing with this than the current shit show of a government.

Self-isolation operated on much less strict principles. Self isolate for 14 days and youâre good.
Youâve had people in the capital effectively self-isolate for months, many of whom have never had the virus.
How are they more dangerous than people who have, and have just stayed at home for 14 days?
Just imagine how many millions of ÂŁ of fresh produce is now added to those Truck traffic jams with the Ferries being stopped

Would depend on how they travel. Why? Because even with the most diligent self isolation over past 2-3 weeks, good chance plenty in the station crowds, on trains etc will be symptomless carriers so by using g these transport methods there is a possibility of infection and then carrying that to your destination⊠and how many of those will then want to get back after Christmas having now spread the virus to whether they were?
Sure itâs a Government shit show, but when the fuck do people stop griping about social distancing and start to take some social responsibility? We need to stop blaming test and trace failures etc, as we know itâs shit and does not work, and start being more direct about the contribution individuals are failing to make?
Life is shit right now for most people. Yet we life in an age of âentitlementâ ⊠no longer a sense restricted to politicians?
Many folks were making sacrifices, yet see many who just donât seem to care, so end up doing the same. The behaviour spreads about as quickly as the virus.

Instead of this travel ban, people should have been told that to travel they have to have a valid negative test certificate. Thatâs easy, surely?
Or be responsibly testing their eyesight?

Itâs a pretty lame arsed justification for the behaviour of all those people who knowingly left a Tier 3 London to escape a Tier 4 London - but they will use it because in their own minds they will need to find a reason to legitimise their own selfish actions
