The ferry is more expensive than bloody flying…

We looked at a Euro camp holiday last year, it was something like £600 for the week for the caravan, adding the ferry in took the price to nearly £1,200!!

Chunnel it for about Ā£160 return if prepared to get one about 0600 - Was I have always done… although we did Portsmouth- St Malo a few times and that was around 500 but included a cabin

There’s a ferry terminal 5 minutes drive from my front door

I’ve got a ferry crossing booked for a soon to be cancelled ski trip so will probably move that to late summer/Autumn. Hoping to get to Tahiti in July.

Does the Poole ferry go to Tahiti now ?

Asking for a friend.

Is July late summer/Autumn now? Asking for a pedant

if your three days of summer are in June then yes they are

Polish ski slopes are open.
Hotels aren’t but hey!

''Some countries already require immunisation certificates for diseases such as polio or yellow fever to prevent global spread.

The difficulty with proposing the same for Covid-19 is we don’t yet know if immunisation stops someone being contagious.

The vaccine trials so far show that jabs are very good at preventing illness, but more studies are needed to determine if they will also prevent a person from ā€œshedding and spreadingā€ the virus.

That’s why it’s premature to talk about vaccine passports to give people access to pubs and clubs, let alone other countries.’’

So. Other countries are announcing research projects into format, technology and obviously languages.
Britain.
We aren’t doing that.

And so you will be 3 to 6 months behind as you give money to Serco in a hurry for something everyone else is already using.

Gove is a liar. I wouldn’t believe a fucking thing that comes out of that rubber-lipped goon’s pie hole.

Lol at Laura K on the BBC gamely trying to roll another steaming Johnson turd in glitter, suggesting that the rebellion wasn’t as bad as expected. Also Johnson standing in the voting lobby literally begging MPs to support him isn’t a good look for a Prime Minister.

The fact we have a vaccine good to go for a virus that no one knew about this time last year is nothing short of miraculous - nothing like a real crisis to spur innovation - I hope we learn from this

I also have to say that the UK govt have done a good job on securing vaccines supplies - yes we will have too many but we backed a lot of horses and we are going to be in good shape

Plus we can always resell the spare capacity

Daughter’s Mother in Law works in NHS. She was given the time /date for her jab next week about 10 days ago.
Father in Law who is immunocompromised has been confirmed as getting jab following week.

Outside the Westminster clvsterfvck, some professionals have been doing an amazing job.
