Labuan is in Lockdown again due to 23 positive case yesterday
Businesses closed restauarants / Lounges only open to 9:30 pm
All Supermarkets were closed yesterday and today for disinfection.

But they are relaxing rules for offshore workers ex pats will now only need a Covid test to be negative less than 3 days before travel offshore as well as only a test on returning back onshore no quarantine required.

heard some pub owner on the radio this morning bemoaning their situation. I have huge sympathy for anyone in her position, but she kept asserting that the only way out of it is to have a two week complete lockdown, get it over with, and then we could “all get back to normal”.

I have time on my hands as Labuan is in lockdown again.

Czech Republic has just closed its borders again.

Here the new rules have 1 innovative idea. Over 70s told to stay home but a new hotline set up for them. They have then mobilized all voluntary organisations like the Scouts, local community centres and Military reserves to provide a care, monitoring and shopping service for those who need it.
At least they are engaging with local authorities on support here rather than ordering them about & making a big thing of throwing not enough money around
