Genius
And in another pointless “no shit Sherlock” finding :-
Everywhere is struggling. If only Virologists had said that colder weather could lead to a 2nd wave back in the summer…
Mrs BTripz lost the hearing in her right ear after a bout of flu some 15 years ago now. We always thought it was because she was blowing her nose all the time…
Fucksake. That’s unbelievable.
No…unfortunately it’s totally believable.
I refer the forum to an oft mentioned documentary on “the general population”
Idiocracy
Just saying!

And this is why that all bars are going to, eventually, be closed down until the pandemic has gone for good.
The curfew, whilst good intentioned, was a stupid idea as it relies on people’s common sense to go home when the pubs are closed.
Unfortunately the country seems to have developed into a bunch of self entitled idiots who think that they are immune from anything and everything…
4% of cases attributed to hospitality. 36% to education. 30% to workplace.
Understand the point you’re making but do you really think that people partying in the streets after the pubs have closed is a good and sensible thing?
I’m not debating the curfew here because, like you, I don’t think it was well thought out at all. Let pubs/restaurants stay open as long as they enforce the current restrictions i.e. no mixing when in pubs, masks when moving around, table service etc. and make sure they enforce them with fines. Hopefully then people will drift away in smaller groups naturally and you won’t get the scenes that we see here…
Like I’ve just said, and I’ve said it before, you can’t rely on people’s common sense these days…
…“developed”?
Sorry, but this country have in the last 10 years:
- Voted to leave the EU.
- Voted to put Jeremy Corbyn in charge as leader of the opposition.
- Voted against AV.
- Voted this Government in, led by a charlatan, liar and serial cheat - with a fucking majority.
“Developed” really gives this nation of fucking retards a get-out clause.
Bob.
They party because they dont give a fvck.
They dont give a fvck because the corrupt rulers show they dont give a fvck.
The blame lies at Dominic Cummings, Donald Trump and every other Political or Community leader who failed to follow the rules.
We’ve been supporting out local since they opened again. They’re taking this very seriously and the rules religiously enforced. We go mostly at lunchtime for a meal and a drink and it’s busy but restrained. It’s a rural place with a big garden but now the autumn has set in the Landlady/owner is getting nervous that they’ll be lumped in with city centre pubs and closed down.
She says if they’re closed down again they’re not likely to reopen.
Yeah, my local is much the same, they’ve closed their beer garden now because of the weather but, since the curfew, they say they are much busier in the evenings.
I’ve not been to Poole or Bournemouth town centres since April so I don’t know what they’re like now. Mind you Poole town centre used to be dead before this all started…
I feel desperately sorry for the owner. They spent a lot of money on a restaurant extension late last year. They were hoping for a bumper year to help pay for the extension and they get this…
Food and atmosphere is top notch, I’ll be really pissed if they fold.
At the bottom of the article is this bit :-
The scientists warn there are three things that must be considered as part of any discussion of a circuit breaker:
- What are the harms to the economy and society?
- Will people support and abide by more tight controls?
- What happens next to ensure we do not return to the same situation?
I can’t answer the 1st and 3rd questions but I can guess that the answer to the second question would be a massive no because :-
- a vast majority of people don’t believe the virus exists or is not worse then the flu
- the leaders of this country don’t stick to the rules so whey should the plebs?
- people can’t see any benefits to a short lockdown and will only see it as a inconvenience.
Finally 1+2 =4
