On a train earlier. At least 10-15% not wearing face masks, many just taking the piss and laughing about the rules. Tended to be 18-30 unsurprisingly. Many other passengers fucked off.
Need bigger fines and for them to actually be enforced. Don’t think it would take more than a couple of days of regular £500 fines for the message to hit home.
Have contacted my MP to ask them to sort it, ASAP, for what thats worth. #grumpyoldme

I got quarantined the people i flew with on the helicopter did not. health officials said i had to quarantine as i was a foreigner, no exceptions all foreigners are carriers, no locals on the same flight could possibly be infected but i was a suspected case.
Try to explain you hsve alresdy done 2 week quarsntine and have a Malaysian movement order allowing freedom of movement in malsysia did not count. So another 2 wèeks solitary with duty free beer and vodka on offshore rates.

What you say about social media is right on the money, but sadly the genie is out of the bottle and we can’t turn the clock back. Earlier i was looking at a live report from the demonstration in Trafalgar Square and much was being made about an organization called QAnon who were very prominent at the demo. A stall was knocking out QAnon t shirts and they were flying out like hot cakes. I had never heard of them so looked them up. They are a conspiracy theory outfit from the US who have millions of followers on Facebook and the like, and their following in the UK is increasing rapidly.
Basically they were promoting the theory that Donald Trump is waging a secret war against a world elite who engage in ritual child abuse. But it doesn’t stop there, they have anti-semitic theories as well as other crackpot satanic paedophilia theories. They have already hosted at least a dozen demos in this country and are very active in the anti vaccine, anti lockdowns and anti 5G protests. In this country it appears that the QAnon conspiracy is being led by a coalition of wellness groups, vigilante paedophile hunter networks, pre existing conspiracy forums and various far right groups. But the worrying thing is that activity and support from this country on their website has increased five fold since April. Stark raving bonkers, but it would appear there is an increasing number of people who are very susceptible to it with all that is going on.
I truly believe that we shall see some serious civil disorder in this country in the next few months, i hope i’m wrong on that but i don’t really see cause for optimism. As i said before, it’s going to be a long winter.

I read the Time article, and I’d heard of QAnon way before that. And yes, the whole Q thing is utterly horrible. And yes, it’s utter bollocks.
