When nobody else is, he’s carrying out an invaluable public service.

Unfortunately no-one else is.

If Piers Morgan falls over and there’s nobody there to hear it, is he still a cunt?

Not an opinion that originated from me, but it’s one I agree with.

Piers Morgan is not great in normal times, usually looking to find or generate some controversy.

In these times, with a long running crisis and a legitimate series of concerns, he has been excellent.

I’ve just watched him rip a new arsehole for the Labour London Mayor. It could have been two new arseholes it was that bad.

He’s a cunt to everyone it’s just that, in my view, Boris and this government during this pandemic have lots of questions to answer that they are either dodging or spinning their way out of.

He wasn’t a cunt to Trump until his ratings started to fall.

I don’t like Morgan and I don’t trust him. I don’t believe he’s interested in holding anyone to account. I think he’s interested in himself. He’s a horrible cunt

If you are furloughing more than 100, you upload a csv file. Under a hundred, you input the names and NI numbers of those you are furloughing, some corporate info, you bank account and the total claim. Five or six days later the cash turns up in your account

It was quick, simple to use, and intuitive.

My fear is that they now try to improve it and fuck it up

ā€œSuper-sizedā€ is probably accurate

In Piers Morgan’s world, the Sun orbits him.

However his kick arse act will eventually backfire as all politicians will boycott GMB - what’s the point of going on if you have to face Morgan grandstanding.

Glad you got the cash quickly, but sounds a bit of a crap system design to me.

The 100 person cutoff means that someone might have to enter 99 individual members of staff and their details into another system.

CSV only route would have been better. More likely to have been generated from a legit trusted source, such as a payroll system. Less opportunity for ad-hoc data entry error. Also, only one track to test.

I agree with all of that but he’s still providing a public service right now.

And that’s basically how the government manages to keep itself from being held to account.

Morgan is dismissed because of a load of one-way personal vendettas he doesn’t know he’s involved in. There are comments like yours all over Twitter.

They can’t see the wood for the trees either.

Give it a rest you daft twat

Don’t waste your time on me, guv. Piers is the real enemy, remember

It was quick and easy - and it worked. Thats all a user wants

You ain’t going on a summer holiday.

We’re the sick man of Europe.

That’s not going to wash with Spain though, is it :+1::grin::grin:

Morgan has spent the entirety of his journalistic career demonstrating what a loathsome piece of work he is. A few weeks of decent output in the middle of an existential crisis isn’t about to transform him from Figure of Derision to Elder Statesman, like Andrew Neil has somehow pulled off. I’m fully prepared to take your word for it that he’s been good recently, but he’s spent so long developing such an unpleasant reputation that I’m not about to tune in and watch him myself, on principle.

Wow. Just wow.

In the Sandpit we had A/C flu. It came every April & September. It was a respiratory infection.
It was never ā€œtalked aboutā€.
But it was seasonal and it was Viral.
Flu is also seasonal.

I know there is no ā€œscientific evidenceā€ but equally we should be aware of the possibility Coronavirus could also be seasonal.
Basically, no second wave appearing in many countries - good.
But let us not imagine it is ONLY due to lockdown, it could also mean it is seasonal. we should take care
