The biggest concern amongst NHS workers is still a lack of PPE. The way thatâs been handled is fucking scandalous and makes me really fucking angry.

Absolutely - my mate is apoplectic about is as his missus (cardio nurse) is still being given fuck all protection, even though theyâve been promised it since beginning of March.
The worst thing about this is there are a lot of intelligent people out there thinking this Government is doing a good job. Looking through LinkedIn is a fucking nightmare at the moment as I just want to reach through my fucking monitor and give everyone a fucking shake. Guess that wouldnât be social distancing though.

The problem is when he won the second Labour election they should have stopped that shit. Starmer wonât get anywhere near the bad press that Corbyn has, even if he had done the same. Anyway, this should be over on the other thread.

Pretty desperate stuff here from the Daily Express. Hijacking footage of last Thursdayâs clapping for the NHS and reporting it as clapping for Johnson last night. Aside from the blatant dishonesty, what an insult to NHS workers and the general public who were showing their support.

Whenever I want to ascertain the veracity of any particular claim, I do a Google search.
And if a Daily Express article is the top search result for that claim, I generally disregard the claim.

A resident at a Michigan nursing home who had tested positive for Covid-19 pleaded with her Amazon Alexa device to help her cope with her pain before dying alone, recordings have revealed.
LouAnn Dagen, 66, asked the device for help nearly 40 times, according to the recordings given by her sister to local station WOOD-TV
âAlexa, help me,â Dagen is heard saying. âCan you help me cope with the pain? Oh, Alexa, Iâm going to hurt.â
Dagen was one of 31 residents and five staff at the Metron of Cedar Springs who tested positive for the coronavirus, according to WOOD-TV.
Her sister, Penny Dagen, told the station that the home - where she had lived for almost 10 years - had already given LouAnn pain medication.
âIâm sorry I couldnât help you more. Iâd take your pain away,â Penny said.
This could be an interesting initiative as long as it is done right.
