It always pleased me a great deal that Terry Jones guest starred in The Young Ones.
OK, with all this talk of comic genius I wanted to give some praise for Mark Heap. As @Fowllyd said further up the thread, heâs always excellent.
He has to be one of the finest physical comedians that weâve produced.
One of Mrs Bletchâs and my dirty lockdown pleasures is Friday Night Dinner. Itâs a little slapstick for me to call it anything above âfunnyâ but itâs enjoyable.
However, Mark Heap is just superb as neighbour Jim in it.
This is my favourite episode - So Much Blood.
At times like this we really need Bill Hicks.
Yes indeed. Just imagine what he would have made of Trump!
If his career had survived whatever heâd have said about 9/11.
More from Bruiser. Missed this the first time around. I suspect this one wonât have as much general appeal, but some of you will have worked with someone like this. I know I have.
This weeks Charlie Brookerâs Antiviral Wipe was a classic as it included a new Philomena Cunk âMoments of Wonderâ, always funny but her in depth quizzing of the expert is a classic: from 39.00 onwardsâŚ
Charlie Brookerâs Antiviral Wipe - Iplayer
This is genuine 24 carat solid gold genius. Iâve loved all of Down the Line since the beginning, but this lockdown special is a thing of beauty.
Thanks for that. Going to listen now.
RIP Felix Dexter
Heâs an odious cunt. I watched a few of his little clips. I really donât understand how this passes as comedy. Iâd very much like to slap him across his stupid face.
Yeah, I can see what is happening here.
Youâre too busy being offended. Go watch Tim Vine.
AhâŚI see
Good lad. Iâd tell you to fuck off and watch Tim Vine, but your salty tears of outrage would jam up the sprockets at Sotonians.
InterestingâŚ
