Those emails I hope will really come back and haunt Clinton. She has had it far too easy over them, strangely the left have ignored them in the election process…
And what have I always said about the mock shock indignation shower? Croydon sums it up perfectly. The fascist left strike again. Anyway I am off out shopping.
The arrest over the Croydon tweet is ridiculous. People took the royal piss out of him on Twitter. That was as far as it needed to go, imo.
If we’re going to start arresting people for abusive tweets, they’ll need to nick half of Twitter.
Thanks Phil, highly illuminating!
I agree with you Pap. But what a stupid thing to say to someone. But you cant go around saying these things to people under the “Hate Crime” laws but yes, if every twat was arrested for saying stupid things you would have to have courts sitting 24/7. I think it is more that he said it to her face than then reported on Twitter but I could be wrong.
The fascist mock shock brigade, I dont lie lads, they love it, every underdog or minority they will latch upon as it is a cheap shot to the state. The enemy within, come on catch on.
I am reading the Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. I’m catching on Bazza. You’re saying similar things to what all them nationalists did.

Why on earth would I want to “trick you” regarding something as serious as years upon years of historic record of our own secret services creating ‘false’ “terrorist groups” (Gladio operatives pretending to be other terrorist groups - sounds familiar) for the express purpose of creating a climate of fear to advance their political agendas?
You must think I am a proper cunt or something?
I’m not a wind up merchant (unlike others I could mention) and I do not peddle baseless “theories”. I focus on elements that are on the record with at least some kind of evidence to back them up.
I care not about “conspiracy theories” – I care about truth – and making it available to those who may never have been inclined to investigte it for themselves.
I could understand if I’d turned up and started banging on about the kind of bullshit about lizard-people and spying lightbulbs that the likes of David Icke spread. But that kind of baseless crap only serves to distract from and tarnish by association the many real and horrifying events perpetrated by states against their own people.

I’m only interest in the train bomb that killed 85 ppl - when you say documentary is ppl confess & convicted are they specific confess & convicted for the train bomb kill 85 ppl?
Some of them, yes. But the three-part documentary is about far more than that Bearsy. The Bologna Massacre is just one of many many terrible acts of state-sponsored terrorism that the perpetrators admit to on camera. So I wouldn’t want you to go into it thinking it is only about the Bologna train station bombing.
It is two hours and twenty-five minutes of interviews with sercret service terrorists about the many atrocities they committed across Europe, Bologna (and some of its convictions) are just one aspect of the documentary.

Please don’t mistake Barry for the forum
I don’t. But at the same time, I also couldn’t help but notice that despite the ridiculous responses from him, no-one else chipped in to state the obvious. Actually that is doing Phil a disservice, I appreciated his contributions that went as far as he can do where he’s posting from, so thanks Phil for your efforts in this topic.
Other than that, the truths I spoke were met only with silence and a comically erroneous dissenting voice.
I imagine the popcorn just tasted too good.
In retrospect, I can’t imagine that even Barry can really be as unintelligent as he made out in some of those dismissive responses – so I kind of suspect that I may have been trolled up a beauty there, in which case I hold my hands up and admit to being ‘had’. A top effort. Not an appropriate thread for that in my personal opinion, but each to their own.

Deep in the bowels of Sotonians, there is a conspiracy theories thread, and if that doesn’t suit, feel free to start your own.
Thing is Pap – I have no interest in discussing conspiracy theories.
I was asked (or at least ‘the forum’ was) to provide evidence of secret services personnel actually admitting to killing their own people for political gain. I provided first-hand witness testimony of people admitting to doing precisely what was requested.
An appropriate response (based on the admittedly massive presumption that the question was actually asked from a genuine place of curiousity and interest) – would have been simply – “oh, you actually found some? Ok, thanks, I’ll check that out…”
That is exactly where this ridiculousness should have stopped.
Evidence of admissions requested. Evidence of those admissions provided. Job done, and we all move on with the purpose of the thread at hand.

Start a Gladio thread or something else with a bit of distance and I will contribute to that shit all day long. It’s still hugely fucking important, with a massive bearing on why things are the way they are now.
Again mate, I have no real interest in doing so at this point. For starters, I simply don’t have the free time. I was baffled that I had to end up droning on and on and on regarding the same points the documentary and links to declassified documents I shared dealt with perfectly well of their own accord.
We shouldn’t even have needed to be having this discussion. My only intention was a simple, self explanatory info-drop. Not to have to go round and round in circles, likely boring the fuck out of others who are not remotely interested, and detracting from the nature of the thread itself.

I commend you for conducting yourself with considerably more decorum than I ever managed on day one
Thank you. I am a man who greatly values being respectful, and treating others with decency. I always aim to keep my cool and play the ball, not the player. Which is why I object to ungentlemanly conduct aimed at me, and felt the need to defend my contributions. Especially in a thread like this one.
As for something you said earlier about it being the “bravest time” to introduce an “alternative” narrative – perhaps – but from my perspective, I feel it is appropriate that potentially important historical precedent be established before the “official lines” have taken root, been repeated and regurgitated 24/7 ad nauseum until they’ve already become in a short space of time “the unequivocally accepted truth” of the matter (based on nothing but that’s what the media are reporting). As is often the case, it seems that the narrative has already been written, so conclusively the assumptions are presented as fact, and all that remains is for that script to be played out.
Like the time a TV reporter was reporting live on air in america that WTC7 had collapsed despite being ‘hit by nothing but some debris’ (all the while it was still standing in the picture right behind her) – only for it to suddenly crumble at freefall speed on live TV behind her about 30 seconds after she’d started her report that it had previously collapsed. Lol. You couldn’t make it up. (Or could you?)

Don’t shut the fuck up
I appreciate the support Pap – but for the sake of the thread, I’ll remove myself from further commenting for now. I never did and still do not want to be a focus of attention. I only ever wished to help out in providing important potentially relevent information – not to spend ages banging on about and defending something that when actually viewed, completely speaks for itself.
So with respect, I’m out, at least as far as commentary goes. I’ll still read and perhaps drop in the odd pertinent link from time to time should I encounter anything of interest – but I’ll not hang around defending and debating said info or be baited again into becoming a diversion from the topic itself.
Anyway, it’s a beautiful day out there, and I’m off to enjoy it.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled broadcast…
Your sort of book faux socialist and all that…
Jack; you’re quite right to pull me up on my use of “conspiracy theory”. It is a weaponised term, as you say, to plop Silurian worshippers and concerned citizens into the same bucket. Has been since the JFK assassination. You’ve not proferred one here, so apols if my use of the term made it look like you did.
Part of the reason that I’ve kept my powder dry is the evolution of the way the term is now treated. Things that the Western powers call conspiracy theories are held up as the official narrative of states like Russia, the downing of MH17 being the most obvious example, but equally, you could say that about the entire saga in Ukraine. I fucking love Associated Press’ Matt Lee
Another factor has been the emergence of English language networks from foreign countries. It is all propaganda, irrespective of source. It is nice to have a competing opinion. As someone that has protested the BBC for their bias, I am not happy with them either. When you compare the bold documentaries they made in the early 90s, such as the one you posted, or the documentary on the USS Liberty, with the coverage we have now.
I am also a huge fan of John Pilger, a respected, and by my reckoning about as independent a journalist as you can get. I fucked up loads when discussing these topics on TSW. I reckon you’ve handled yourself deftly, although I can appreciate (as can you) why others get upset.
Do stick around on other threads. I’ve enjoyed your work.
Pilger is great but doesn’t really go into the land of fantasy. he is a humanist not a dreamer.
The first two parts are very interesting. Had some issues with the last third.
Talking of conspiracies, testing my new tv out today with blu rays and sound etc, got JFK on at the moment and it has to be arguably the greatest of our time and the fact this actually did happen is what is amazing.
Is it stood on the box?
Ooh
Every cloud:
“In a sign of fears over the country’s security, Mariah Carey has cancelled her gig in the Belgian capital.”
41 dead in Iraq after a suicide bomber attacks football trophy ceremony, a wonderful open minded man in Glasgow is murdered for showing togetherness, fuck me we are screwed, I can see it, there is no hope.
Alternatively, Bazza, you might consider the 7 billion people who managed not to kill each other this week.
I guess you’re just a half glass empty kinda guy.
Wind it in, Philip. Even a cursory search shows that the only agencies reporting the nuclear guard story as a genuine concern are the Mail, the Telegraph and Fox news.
Irresponsible scaremongering.
