:brexit: Brexit - The Ramifications

It’s all causation. Myself and Pap have debated many a time about it and he has never seemed to grasp it before.

In relation to your bottom paragraph, Pap USED to believe that as well. Until this vote. Go figure.

Tebbit and Thatcher thing though. Ouch. Bit harsh.

Unbelievable.

Responsibility, not blame.

What are you doing post-Brexit to improve anything?

There are some right little bleaters and whingers on here, grow a set of bollocks, you lost the vote and we move on, it really is as simple as that.
When you get home to your long suffering ear battered partners are you all like Neil from the young ones? I’d always rather be Vivian and also sadsacks you have a better life that way.

“But Deidre we lost the vote, we’re doomed, I may leave for the Isle of Man or Dumbarton”

“Really Clive, that’ll be great as since this vote result has come in you’ve been a massive tit and I’ve been shagging the gardener who I think voted leave as we’re paying him minimum wage and he is surviving not living, so could you fuck off you whopper”

Nowt so far, apart from preparing for pain in various ways. Until we know what the plan is going forward I wouldn’t want to start doing anything.

What useful things are you doing?

You’re a very, very strange person, or at least you certainly come across as that on the forum (I don’t know your real life persona so I can’t judge that).

Not yet Bear, only when it fucks up…

Cherts I wouldn’t be concerned about your persona coming across on this forum, its loud and clear.

Consumer confidence falls after Brexit. Sharpest drop in 21 years

“Survey suggests 60% of consumers expect the general economic situation to worsen over the next year”

Strange when only 48% voted Remain

A large survey of 47 Million I must say, then did they start 2007?

I’ve been campaigning, both in real life and online & also giving money to people that need it. I joined Momentum this week too.

That’s why I’ve got so little time for what Barry calls bleating. That’s all that’s happening here. I wouldn’t mind if this was backed up with anything bar moaning and point-scoring, from the losing fucking side!

Do you not think you’d be better diverting some of that boundless energy into, y’know, doing something about it?

Hey Pap, chill mate.

You can’t take the burden of getting Blighty out of Commie Nirvana all on your own.

And anyway, it will take 2 years to get out.

And by that time we’ll not have to actually leave because the Quasi Socialist Mafia in Brussels will have imploded anyway as other Nations vote that they have had enough.

It is the same rambling time and again which keeps missing the point. INTELLIGENT people voted for Brexit to get rid of Brussels.

Brussels which had 40 years of us trying to influence it from within. Brussels - not trhe common electrical or safety standard, of metrification et al, Brussels - which allowed the likes of Farage to piss YOUR OWN TAX MONEY away and never attend work.

Not all Leavers were Nazi Racists. They want the 75% good things that the Common Market gave. They did not want an unelected Dictatorship - which is what you have all lived under - and ffs how hypocritical of you all - you force Democracy on Iraq & Afghanistan yet you did not actually live in a Democracy, being ruled by Juncker.

Brussels will implode and change or the other Nations will leave. THEN you can all join the Union it should be.

Oh and FFS stop with the EU gives billions to this and that in UK - again that is YOUR bloody money - your tax money - your 350 million a week. So you so called Democrats are arguing that you want a Dictatorship to allocate money you give to your elected puppets who give it to the Dictatorship who give it back to the regions/research etc.

So you argue that you trust a pseudo communist Dictatorship MORE than you trust your own Elected Officials to spend YOUR money/

I’m glad I am not getting kicked in the nuts by the ramifications of Brexit but there is as much selective quoting in this argument as there was from Bliar back in '02. Only pick the lies/facts/spin you wish to believe.

The Pound has dropped - boo hoo your holiday is more expensive.

But your exports just became WAY more competitive at a time when the Germans are about to implode. UK Software UK FInancial Services Law FIrms etc as well as the few Manufacturing plants you have left will do very well - the US dumped the Dollar value to the floor after the last crash and QE and look at their economy now compared to the likes of Greece & Portugal who were slaughtered by an artificially high exchange rate subsidising the Germans.

Anyway I have a hangover having had a bunch of Polish Asylum Seekers round for dinner who all think what Britain has done will see YOU leading the new EU and not the morons like Farage & Kinnock

To be fair, some will take the pain for Brexit. At the moment I find all the decrease in currencies, investments in the stockmarkets interesting to see how much confidence has been eroded. I would expect a change to this once we have a new PM, and also once a plan has been formulated on how to tackle the issues.

Campaigning for what exactly?

What do you want me to do about? Until we know whats going to happen going forward it’s fairly pointless.

Yes. But I didn’t vote for it. You did.

That’s twice you’ve demonstrated the shallowness of your position.

Much of the thread has been devoted to ascribing some sort of blame to the majority that voted Leave.

You said earlier that you’d only go to Canada when it fucks up. I thought it was fucked up now! Isn’t it? That’s what I’ve been reading for 51 fucking pages!

And now, in this post, it’s pointless doing anything until we know what’ll happen.

Hang on a mo! I thought Remain knew exactly what would happen, and it’s all playing out as designed (if you ignore shitloads of things).

Simultaneously, you’re claiming we’re fucked but not fucked. That we know what’ll happen, inasmuch as that applies to them nasty Leave voters, but we don’t know what will happen when it requires actually using your loaf to form a political opinion or do anything about the thing you’re so upset about.

As an ardent Remainer, why haven’t you been to any of the demos? They’re handy enough for you, I’d say.

Where have I claimed we’re fucked right now? I don’t believe I have. It is highly likely we will be fucked in the future though.

Until we know what the plan is, yes.

Again, where have I claimed we’re ducked right now.

As an ardent Remainer, why haven’t you been to any of the demos? They’re handy enough for you, I’d say.

Because I’m not an ardent remainer, and I don’t do demo’s against democracy.

Much of your post seems to be based on you projecting other Bremainers opinions onto me.

My fault - he’s swinging punches at you because I mentioned Thatcher.

Calm down boys.
