:brexit: Brexit - The Ramifications

Barry is many things. An EDL fan isn’t one of them.

Seriously, I’ve checked. You can too:-

IF I am completely wrong on this then I wholeheartedly apologize. However, There is something not quite right about this because I clearly recall links to EDL on SWF and Barry’s (in then guise) support of UKIP - it was subtle, yet clear. Supporters of such groups are also known to 'test the water, by posting links etc and seeing the reaction, it supports their recruitment strategy. The approach to his discussions on Muslims went beyond the zeal of contemporary atheists - beyond even what the likes of Dawkin’s more extreme views, so forgive my suspicions… when criticised for these views, the Daily Mail like, ‘PC gone mad’ -‘liberal elite’ responses may well be a deliberate wind up attempt, but do not sit naturally with his so called left of centre values…he is a contradiction, as if his online persona is designed to be as anonyingly ridiculous as possible… its completely inconsistent.

Where have I ever posted links from the EDL, Jesus you’re a right little fascist, slinging mud with no proof, a riht class act you are, proper snide, a right little weasel you lad.

You’re a cock but its all ok I have broad shoulders, no need to aplogise, ha ha it made me chuckle really.

As an act to play this game, anyone else in Amnesty International? Who is going to give more this month to stop FGM? Gay you?

Ha Ha whopper.

Don’t say I don’t give you anything Cherts.

LOLs… now this is funny. As I said above, I ‘recall’ your posts form SWF, but no I am not going to trawl thorugh it and try dig out 3-4 year old shite. If you say you have never done this, then I will from now on accept it… however,I do not accept that you have not suppported (in whichever online personality you were wearing at the time) UKIP and all what it stood for… nor do I believe your attack on the ‘teachings of Islam’ to be neutrally motivated purely by atheism… that is a perception that rightly or wrongly, you have created for yourself with your rather limited yet very vocal arguments… What is funnier still, is your hilarious attitude to rather juvenile insults that are both child like, yet attempting to patronize… its a psuedo intellectualism usually the preserve of the made up ‘intellectual liberal elite’ you are so fond of criticising - like I said your one line personna is not consistent enough to be taken seriously…

Who ever said I wanted to be taken seriously and even if I wanted to I don’t think I could pull that off, you’re even more of a fool than I thought my boy.

I know this isn’t a ramification, more a hypocrisy

UK economy increasingly reliant on London tax paid. Shocker. I guess the rest of the country can make up any shortfall

Whatever … Barry.Ok you want to play games, your perogative. Trouble is, playying such games is that eventually you are left in the sand pit all alone to play by (with) yourself…

Would probably be a lot easier if the Northern Powerhouse offices were actually in the North.

So bugs is the big issue then…good stuff!

Of course they can’t. Those outside of London deride it, but their parts of the country can’t survive on their own. I think Joseph Heller called it a Catch 22.

It has been a problem for decades. Blair’s Labour tried decentralisation, and wanted to extend the concept of devolution to regions. The plan faltered after the North East rejected the idea of their own assembly.

When ur gentials are being drained by cryogenically enhanced super-mosquitoes, you won’t be so glib srs

Reliant on London? Probably beyond doubt but what is the economy? Banking? All this says to me is we can do better and should look at other nations and how they do it, too much money goes there and it isn’t distributed fairly in London let alone the UK.

Possibly not outright, bare-faced lies but very misleading promises/claims that, to all intents and purposes are lies:

  1. Numerous claims that we’re going to see large falls in immigrations. Dan Hannan (Con MEP) immediately went on telly to say that people expecting immigration to come down will be “disappointed”.

  2. We’re going to have an extra £100 million/week for the NHS. Lolololol

  3. We’re going to stay in the single market. Well, possibly but then we will have to have freedom of movement and pay for the privilege.

  4. We’re going to get our sovereignty back. We’re going to have a new prime minister. This unelected leader could then theoretically hold office unopposed until a general election has to be called in three year’s time. We still have the House of Lords. Unelected!

  5. The biggest misleading statement ever – we’re going to save £350m a week. Lolololol

  6. We’ll remain a world leader in research and development. UK investment in science and universities has dried up since the recession, whereas the EU gave us £7bn in science funding alone between 2007 - 2013.And we’re already facing new barriers to collaboration with European universities and research centres. I know as I happen to work at a university. We’re applying for collaborative grants and our European partners are already starting to wonder whether it’s worth their while continuing with the bid process if we might, in a couple of year’s time, no longer be a part of the EU.

  7. Leave promised we could end VAT on household energy bills. While that’s possible, it won’t save us any money in reality because we rely on imports for so much of our energy.

  8. We aren’t going to be a ‘greater’ Britain. Overnight the UK economy has already slumped from the fifth largest in the world to sixth. More than £200 billion has already been wiped from the value of the UK stock market - or put another way, 24 years’ worth of UK contributions to the EU.

Which begs the question.

If these claims are so laughable, why do you think Leave fell for them?

Winding forward a hundred years, right, I think EU will succeed in their aim to make all member states same standard, which in practical terms will mean wack countries get more good, and gd countries get more worse, until they all end up equivalent to mean average EU country, or Portugal, to look at it another way. What we’ll do right, cos of Brexit, is even if things go bad, we’ll always be better than Portugal, except at football, and hair, and so we’ll be #1 country in Europe!

Hope that makes some bros feel bit better srs.
