Good news Fats, British shell-ves will still be full of eggs so no need to invest in powdered yolk.
Iām walking on eggshells posting on here.
Anyway sod the eggs, we need to be stockpiling soup - powdered of courseā¦
Great article @gavstar
Iām a pescatarian so donāt care about the sausage and bacon. Weāre going to be alright for eggs and bread, which Is great because one of my favourite meals is two fried eggs on two bits of toast (with salt and pepper). I also love a poached egg. I will strike anyone who wasted an egg making scrambled egg. They are cunts and Iāll say that to their faces.
Iāll miss tomatoes as I use them as the base for many- a- dish. Hopefully climate change will sort us out so weāre not reliant on Johnny Foreigner and their dirty tomatoes.
Iām sure that if people knew this great British institution would be under threat the vote would have been completely different.
The law of unintended consequences people.
Not very scientific but interesting:
Reason for edit. : Oops it doesnāt seem to show the poll results, but have a furtle and youāll find it. Donāt want to spoil it for you.
Same could said re Brexit vote⦠but suggesting poor and labour voters who voted brexit were maybe influenced by the establishment is treasonous apparently and antidemocraticā¦
So what was the fucking great big yacht then?
The NHS bus? Not exactly a get rich quick scheme.
What about the last general election, when the Tories had fuck all in terms of retail policy?
Where was the fucking big yacht there?
All youāve really demonstrated here is your contempt for Labour voters, 5m of them Brexit voters, and an unspecified number of the poor, all looking for a fucking big yacht.
The truth is that generally people vote for the status quo if they feel theyāre doing alright, against it if theyāre not. You donāt have to go to an independent school to find this out.
Any seventeen year old with a term of A Level politics will tell you the same.
Could you clarify this important point about blowjobs on the NHS, please? Will they be available on prescription at the Pharmacy (hope so because my lady Pharmacist is a fox) or will they be available by appointment at the hospital (could be a gamble). Or will we have to queue for them like when we give blood at the hospital and have to take a deli counter type ticket and wait? This is important stuff. Thanks!
The poor might aspire to owning a ābloody great yachtā, but those who have reached the promised land know that you have but two good days owning a boat. The day you buy it and the day you sell it.
"Whether you voted Leave or Remain, did anyone really vote for the mess we seem to be in, let alone the prospect of no deal with all the terrible consequences attached to that.
āThere are some things in life that, even for someone like me, are more important than football. This is one of them.
āI am not a politician but I know when something is going wrong and right now Brexit feels like it is going very wrong indeed.
āThe politicians seem unable to resolve the problem the people gave them in voting to Leave.
"That is why I think there should be a Peopleās Vote on the final deal, and why I am sending best wishes and good luck to the campaigners who will be stepping up the pressure over the summer.ā
You do love being a patronising drama queen and making stuff up - I dont have contempt for labour voters - I have contempt for those that voted Brexit because they believed the EU was responsible for the current shit the country was in and that Brexit (and Corbyn, or Boris Take your pick) ) would deliver us to the promised land on the back of it. I also have contempt for those that vote blindly for change without a fucking idea of the impact and implications - especially those who would happily sacrifice the potential well being of the mostly poor in this country on the back of some six form political rhetoric. Even I who just went to the local state school knows that.
Its not surprising that you mention āany seventeen year old with a term of A level politics the sameā - you sound like one⦠all the fucking time
āWe donāt know what the outcome will beāā - and people were happy to vote for thatā¦
@pap / @Map-Of-Tasmania, this is an inflammatory issue already.
Letās try to debate without the insults, hey?
You disagree. We get it.
Find common ground, convince, move your position or move on. Please.
I can now add ācontemptibleā to āthickā and āracistā for my list of monikers. Good stuff.
CB⦠the challenge is that I do not believe it was right that āthe peopleā be expected to make such a choice without any truthful perspectives on the implications - the more we see / hear now, the more worrying it is that such a decision was given to the people without any clue on what it would look like in the first place⦠It was IMHO a classic move by those who saw an opportunistic power grab and/or ideological aversion and nothing to do with what was best for the people of this country long term. I dont believe that is what democracy is for.
There is no way of saying that kindly, or without insulting those voters who either fell for it, were lied to or supported the power grab - ideological perspectives are more tricky as its a question of folks taking a principle stance which should be respected⦠however global politics is ALWAYS about compromise given the intricacies of global economics and trade and more often than not we should IMHO be prepared to compromise such ideology if it means the better of several evils⦠Those that are not prepared for such compromise, do tend to be those that are stuck in their idealistic youthful politic, where everything was simply black or white (or red v blue etc)
I think the details were written on Borisās battle bus, but i could be mistaken
What do you need to get the full house @CB-Saint?
Ideas anyone?
Yes, thanks for your (Friday night) contribution @saintbletch. We know what itāll be so just saving you the effort
