So. Immigrants need to earn £36k. And people wonder why I chose Poland…
Twitter is pointing out how Doctors Nurses Bar Staff etc do not earn £36k.
So, some of you may be wondering how the elite profit from this.
Simples.
Mrs P_F has a new (proper) job.it is a labour supply company.
Big company orders contract workers (not immigrants) who come, work & leave.
So, who own most of the competitors to the small companies she is at?
Guess
Brexit or a new “Politicians ” thread??
It seems there isn’t as much to be sold off as i thought, so that’s a positive(only one mind).
“the Treasury has calculated that Britain sold off 40 per cent of all assets privatised across the OECD between 1980 and 1996”
But sold off it will be.
The Mayor of London being asked if his priorities are straight.
Parked up at Auschwitz today geezer in van next to me bland in Polish. I do the shrugged apology, sorry I’m English thing.
We got talking about Van’s (not the shoes) then he asked wtf I was doing in Poland, so I explained Brexit & Polish wife…
Until 2017 he had been happy living in Belfast driving buses. Then started getting racist abuse from passengers, went home, packed & came back to Poland. Now has 2 Van’s.
His best mate, a Scouser has a Polish wife, she hot attacked in a supermarket, they now live here as well.
#humancost.
A good mate of mine said “we’re far too busy being sectarian in Northern Ireland to be racist”. Unfortunately, racism happens to be a form of sectarianism, and the NI lot have been practising it way before Brexit.
This is nothing new, mate. Just not very widely reported.
On the day I read about the struggles of the Roma to get proper memorials for the horrors of the Holocaust. 90% of Czech Romas were sent to extermination camps…
Loud, obsessive and tribal.
When “moderates” obsess.
Oddly enough, after three years of dealing with a post-Brexit Sotonians, little of this is news to me.
Germany about to go into recession?
He’s going for no deal. File this statement along with his opening speech as PM.
It’s a strong accusation. The word “collaborate” has historical connotations in relation to Europe.
It also happens to be true.
So Corbyn is going for a No confidence vote and installing himself as PM. However he wants an election (and 5 years) before calling a referendum with remain on the ballot
Considering he has been giving it the PM has no mandate line, installing yourself as PM on what would be the thinnest of mandates possible (slightly over 300 MPs) its a bit rich
Fuck sake, sorry to be gender specific but it’s a huge willy waving session isn’t it
This is 3 days ago and in Brexit terms that’s a long time. Every day a new development yet everything remains the same…
Any thinking person who still has any doubts as to the depths the far right Brexiters will stoop to get their way should really give their heads a wobble if they still think these people represent them. Today we have our new Home Secretary Priti Patel, announcing that free movement for EU citizens will end on day one of a no deal Brexit under new Home Office plans, despite warnings of chaos and people left in legal limbo. She is pressing for border restrictions to be imposed immediately on 31st October, even though no replacement system is ready. Home Office officials have been sent to Singapore to copy it’s solutions to “technical issues”. Singapore!!! I know Thatcher had a sneaking admiration for Lee Kuan Yew when he ruled Singapore with a rod of iron, damn good thrashings handed out at the drop of a hat for dropping a crisp packet or a piece of chewing gum. But even she would have baulked at this. How low have we sunk when Great Britain allows a cabal of extreme xenophobic extreme right wing so called politicians, who represent a tiny minority of people, most of them billionaires, all of them fabulously wealthy, an awful lot them corrupt and totally immoral, to mount what amounts to a coup. For that is what Brexit has turned into. And still people refuse to see it. Still bang the drum about ‘taking back control’, ‘freeing us from the yolk of European slavery’, ‘they need us more than we need them’ etc etc. Never mind that we have the Trump Mini-Me in No 10, the nauseating spectacle of Bonkers Bolton flying in to give Mini-Me his orders. Am i the only one who is cringing with embarrassment? What will it take for the penny to drop, for the overwhelming majority of the 52% who voted leave, for whatever reasons, to realise that they have had their pants pulled down by a relatively tiny cabal of greedy, tax avoiding far right billionaires, many of them corrupt but all with the same agenda. To make them even richer. Making fortunes from the collapse of the pound sterling is just the tip of the iceberg compared with what’s to come. They really must be amazed at how easy it is.
I realise that the Pap’s of this world will just dismiss this out of hand, they know the routine, fingers in the ears, eyes clamped shut, deep lungful of breath – PROJECT FEAR. Up to them! But if this whole debate is about democracy, as we are told, people have a right to know who is driving Brexit policy, what’s in it for them, and lets be honest they have been driving it for many years, long before the referendum in 2016.
This shines a light on them, worth browsing through for those still with an open mind.
It’s not that. We both know this government could be very fragile. The reason it probably won’t be now is because of Labour’s positional shift and the departure from its manifesto page.
In trying for both a Remain-ish position and a term in government, Labour will get neither.
And I’m sorry to say, @Nottarf-Krap, but it is opinions of folk like yourself, amplified by a vocal minority, that has got them to this point.
Guess what one of first things they’re going to do once we’re “free from European oppression”.
Plans are in motion to move an embassy. Can you guess which one and to where?
I know i’ll feel freer
