:brexit: Brexit - Deal or no deal

Fil ma coffers, That 39bn is not money we actually have but is merely us not spending 9bn a year on EU membership for next 5 years or so… around 1.5% of GDP. With our economy expected to shrink more than 2-3% as a result of no-deal, he will have fuck all to spend… Its another ‘myth’ that Boris will be happy some will accept

OK so his main point is lost amongst his waffle but its worth pointing out. By being split and indecisive on Brexit/Remain/ no-deal as a non-unified party he is potentially handing the next election to Boris on a plate… that is not ‘project fear’ but a reality that is falling on death ears because of who is saying it… folks running around with their hands over their ears shouting ‘I’m not listening’ will not solve anything…

Ffs, I thought you profess to be well read and broad minded enough to understand the thoughts of others to come up with your reasoned arguments as littered throughout here.

Seems you’ve finally exposed yourself to be as narrow minded and entrenched in your views as you probably think about any of us who don’t agree with your view on Brexit.

Petty Pap, very petty.

Again, very petty.

And I’ll drop in some more great Brexit news for Pap to refute / make fun of

‘Project fear init’

Its Ok Cobs, once we have re-established our manufacturing super base, and have sown up deals with the US and ROW we will be fine…

Fucking hell. Who knew that we had the solution to fossil fuels all along?

Hook @Map-Of-Tasmania and @Cobham-Saint up to some sort of device which converts hot air and warm salty water to electricity and we are sorted.

Project Tear.

Not sure I need to be taking political(or any other advice) from someone who can’t even wipe their own arse correctly

The country is split on brexit. As is the ruling party who got us into this mess in the first place. Labour being split on brexit is no surprise.

Pretty shit that, with projections that it will drop further over the next couple of months. I am preparing myself for the backlash of telling my missus we’re not going on holiday in Europe this year because it will be too expensive.

Read somewhere else the rate at airports after commission is about 85 cents to the pound, why the fuck anyone would exchange money at the airport in any instance is beyond me.

Yawn. Going to ruin another thread? This is about deal or no deal for Brexit.

If you want to continue this tete-a-tete, Beef Thread pls.

You are like Sydney Sawyer, Tom’s sneaky little shit of a brother, who pretends to be so righteous, whilst all time being guilty of exactly what he accuses others of… I suspect many on here see this, except you.

I make no apologies for taking part in ‘beef’, but unlike you I am aware of my contribution to it.

If these nee-gho-shee-ayshuns don’t finally convince the country of how big a bullshit artist boris is then nothing will.

You have to be fucking deranged to exchange money at the airport - there usually is a 30 point spread between buy and sell that borders on criminal

Only do it if you are truely desperate / truly rich / truly stupid

But that is exactly What Campbell is in effect on about. This issue will NOT be solved by ignoring it, shouting ‘anti-democratic’ every few seconds etc. There is NOTHING anti-democratic about not agreeing with something. There is nothing anti-democratic about giving folks a chance to have a final say on how we go about Brexit, There IS something anti-democratic about shouting requests for such things down… let alone, lies spread etc… but that has been covered to death.

The splits are there because some are sticking to ideological guns, whatever happens. Some are hoping to stick to ideological grounds, BUT NOT at the expense of seeing the poorest in our communities suffer most, and some are simply more pragmatic, recognising that we live in a world where what is best for the economic viability of the country, will always mean compromise… and that we are better being in a compromise with EU partners than being in the pocket of evil clowns like Trump.

What is even worse, is that we are only in this mess because of those who will personally gain from it… Boris, Gove, Farage and the rest who seem to have come out of all this exactly where they wanted… on top, when will folks in this country open their fucking eyes and see this ‘will of the people’ for what it was — a fucking coup by uberelite tory fuckers who dont give a shit about them…

Do you know what, I think you are starting to wake up to the fact that Brexit isn’t going to take us to those sunlit uplands promised back in 2016 and the glaring downsides of any sort of Brexit are becoming ever more apparent on a daily, almost hourly basis. Your reasoned arguments seem to have changed as time has progressed and you’re now at the end-game of engaging in childish provocation and insults (see above).

Haven’t Labour committed to a final say vote in the event of a no deal or shit tory brexit?

Those are very interesting thoughts. They will be filed away just next to the section of my study I like to call “Hey kids! It’s Alistair Campbell”.
