:brexit: Brexit - Deal or no deal

haha… :rofl:keep em coming… does that make you sleep better at night knowing you sided with the racists, bigots and Daily Mail readers… and fucked the poor?

(two can play at the bullshit bingo)

So… its credible 'labour voters (not socialists) can swing to one of the most right wing Tory parties in recent history and yet not to Lib Dems?..   indeed…

Stay off the crack, Map.

You might consider re-calibrating your own sense of importance…

You may wish to adjust your style of debate.

Fuck it, I’ll take any myth-making available, even yours.

I’m certainly not making any decisions based on it.

This is classic Pap… give it large bait, take a hit (badly), act the victim, and then pretend to be all about reasoned debate… sadly too transparent to be an effective troll.

No one is expecting you to make ‘decisions’, what decisions, FFS, how important are you? Are you believing your own hype?

Take a look at the platform the lib Dems stood unambiguously on.

Then look at what happened to their vote share.

They were annihilated. I suppose it might have just been down to personalities, though…:smile:

     What the fuck has that got to do with Labour voters who stuck with Labour on the basis of their second ref stance… how many would have gone had they gone Hard Brexit do you think and where to??? :lou_facepalm_2:

To be fair their chosen pony wasnt exactly a thoroughbred

I’m sure she has a lovely personality.

Who? the Jockey?

The Remain vote was at its strongest before the referendum.

The vast majority of Remain voters accepted the result on June 24th. A shrill and shrieking minority of social media accounts, aided and abetted by current or former politicians looking for a plum appointed post, or to benefit from the framework of the European Union.

I was public about my voting position on social media and in my Labour party duties of 2017. At all times, I was able to articulate a position among Labour members, and to be honest, it’s not that fucking hard in Liverpool, a city that was big on Remain, when the likes of Tony Benn have blazed the trail.

If I were Hilary Benn, I wouldn’t go to any seances or spiritual events. The centrifugal spinning force of his late father would tear him a new arsehole, bigger than the one he is now.

What was your last action for the Labour Party, son?

I fucked a weary populace off who’d had no fucking government of note for three years, with a plan to subvert the intention of a proven majority and extend the misery.

Alternatively…

I stood up for what i believed in, as is the expectation of those elected within a parliamentary democracy… not simply bow to populism, even when it would provide me with greater re-election certainty… It was never going to be a popular decision, but it was a more honest one. If those in y constituency disagree, they have the right go deselect me or not vote for me

As for Tony, he may not have agreed with his son… but I suspect he would have fucking respected him for it. He was always a fair politician in the true sense, not some fly by night vote hungry twat.

He believes in getting the hereditary lordship back.

Brexit negotiations continued this morning.

I’ve got to say, I’m a little gutted that I’m too old and too fucked to join the Navy. What a doss it’s going to be after Brexit. A good portion of the fleet surrounding the island to stop thieving fishermen.

The Navy should change its recruiting slogans to advertise this brilliant new duty.

And hunting migrants, don’t forget that.

Is that the Navy’s responsibility?

I’m not sure. I just want to catch Pierre with his catch.

Answering your question slightly more seriously, why are there migrants crossing the Channel? Most refugees, who I’ve recently wrote about on social media, are from war-torn countries, and looking at a map, nowhere near qualifies as war-torn.

I absolutely detest the UK’s role in creating refugees. The recent furore is a mere distraction from the clusterfuck created domestically. I think we’re big enough and strong enough to play our role in taking refugees in. I don’t need to say it, but the present government is fucking sickening in this regard.

That said, the EU is the reason that refugees are crossing the Channel. These people typically come from war-torn or unstable countries, and looking at a map, three’s not much nearby. The framework of freedom of movement, the Schengen agreement along with the fucking poor attitude by the French are the reasons those ships will be looking for Channel migrant crossings.

It is at the moment. And the RAF.
