Weeks of hearing about Dominic Cunnings brilliant plan to exploit legal loopholes and what do we get? Don’t sign it Fucko! That’ll show’ em! What a cunt.
It’s a moral loophole.
The EU can grant this extension, but they know they’ll lose face in doing so. They know they’ll essentially siding with the kidnappers.
If they grant the extension there will be a VONC and a GE.
Which as you’ve said before, will lead to a Tory landslide if this election happens before Brexit.
Well done, Remainers!
I believe I said if Boris gets his deal through then Labour would be destroyed in the next GE. Either way I think Labour will struggle to win a majority.

Will be interesting if the EU say yes, you can have a year/2 years or longer.
Some light relief from the shambles pretending to be the government.
“His most compelling argument for not publishing the impact assessments which showed the UK would be 6.9% worse off under the new deal was that Classic Dom had some stats which proved everyone would be 7.9% happier to be 6.9% poorer. Truly the country is screwed.”
Not with 408 out of the 650 constituencies voting Leave.
This is the bit i dont understand the mp should vote the way his constituents tell him ?
Three years ago. A lot depends on the campaign. I think the sustained media campaign against Corbyn will do for the Labour party whenever the election happens anyway.
Do you think a Corbyn led Labour can win a GE if Johnson secures a leave deal pap?
I dont think that any Corbyn led party could win he is as was stated elsewhere the modern Michael Foot.
His senotaph duffle coat did for him as has not singing the National Anthem for Corbyn.
So someone who has stated they voted on informed principled rational choices in the referendum and has consistently talked about the values and importance of democracy, is now suggesting that those remainers who are principled on their views ignore their principles and democratic freedom, and vote in a deal simply to prevent a Tory landslide? ( a ‘separate’ issue)
I humbly suggest that the whole purpose of the referendum was to reunite the Tory Party, re-establish the right within it and set up the elite for further entrenchment…
… seems to me if you want to start blaming folks for a tory landslide, I say blame those who voted Brexit… A remain vote would have crushed / split the Tories for many years to come. Well done
I am struggling with blaming people that voted Brexit the majority of people that voted . And reconcilliation of the Tory party. Please explain how that works.
Read paps post blaming reminders for a tory landslide… its not that hard to ‘get’
The referendum was only offered to try and remove the splits in the Tory party
The splits were deliberate to let the right within the Party re-establish themselves and gain control…
Vote for Brexit has empowered the right in the Tory party as we have seen, just look at the cabinet and who is advising them …
These right wring tories knew how to manipulate the less informed within the electorate, preying on fears over migration, sovereignty and bullshit over ‘freedom’
If Pap wants to try and blame Remainers in the House for setting up a ‘Tory landslide’, I suggest he look in the mirror first… suspect its a desperate attempt to avoid having to admit the part played by a brexit vote in what we now have to look forward to…
When Brexit goes through maybe it might remove the jackboot of European legislation on British inginuity
Or it may not
But the majority that voted voted for it. lets have there democratic right allowed before deciding something else
Maybe we should have this outlined so we can judge on whether these have helped or hindered our industry?
We never even signed up to all the rule son workers rights and environmental protections… the little we have will be the first to go to make way for US imports… ‘Jackboot’
I actually work for a Dutch company who try to do most things outside of Europe because of the restrictions imposed on them when doing business there.
you need to qualify that by saying you work for an oil company… I suspect restrictions are there for a purpose… this is the issue with restrictions, people think its bad for business - which it sometime IS… but its GOOD for something else eg environment, workers rights, health and safety…
Just as Thatcher made ‘tax an spend’ a dirty slogan, so the spin doctors for the business elite have done so with ‘restrictions’… why else do you think Murdoch is such a supporter of Brexit? It removes the final few controls on his hideously powerful media empire…
Genuine view is that Labour haven’t got much of a chance because of Brexit.
They piss the Remainers off because they’re not Remain enough.
They’ve pissed the Leave voters off by offering a second referendum with Remain and some form of Remain the only two options on the ballot.
The only way Labour has a sniff is if the Brexit issue is sorted, and even then, it’s still probably going to be a win for the Tories.
