🇧🇷 Brazil v Mexico 🇲🇽 - @Llwybr-Cyhoeddus v @Saint-Rob - Monday 2nd July 15:00 ITV

It’s @Llwybr-Cyhoeddus v @Saint-Rob

It’s a country famous for hairless pussies versus a country famous for hairless dogs.

Who’s going through?

Yet again I’ll be at work for this one, but will be able to keep an eye on it at least as my timetable is pretty kind tomorrow! The sensible money would be on the pussies, but there’s been a few upsets so far so… come on Team Dogging… I mean… dogs… I’ll show myself out.

Has anyone else wondered what Llwybr Cyhoeddus actually means in English. Google translate says it’s an old Welsh sign for Public Footpath. Here endeth the lesson for today. :cockwomble:

And it’s only 8am! Free time! I’m going to play in the garden

Same here, will be unable to watch but may be able to get updates from radio, if any reception. My boys have not filled me with confidence so far but would should do o.k. unless your lot adopt Trump’s ideas and build a wall.

We will build the wall but you have to pay for it, my lot are already paying for the other one apparently.

Hoping our network will let me stick on the iPlayer radio commentary. All the best for the game! Think it could be a heated game, spicy Latin American blood and all that!

The way this WC is going (an open door for France)…
Mexico to win then

Sounds like we’ve come out of the gates strong and well up for it!

This has got Penalties after extra time written all over it. :lou_lol:

That should do it…

Can only dream…!! Sounds like the balance of power is turning though :frowning:

Mexico started at 1,000 milies an hour was really impressive antidote to the Spanish drivel. Brazil seemed to struggle to get the pace of the game. But they sure have got some rythm going now.
Hot, humid and looks like a silky smooth piece of class OR a speedy breakaway is going to win this.

It is fair to say that compared to #CRODEN that half flew by.

That’s woken the game up…Neymar opens the scoring with a tap in and now Mexico step it up looking for a reply.

Surely Neymar should be sent off for those histrionics, obviously trying to get someone sent off.

Neymar’s actions took away any chance of getting the Mexican into trouble. Yes he did step on his ankle but not hard enough to necessitate amputation…as Neymar’s actions suggested.
I’ve ruptured ankle ligaments on a football pitch and managed to hobble back to the changing rooms before passing out.
Hope Neymar will make a speedy recovery…ohh, he has. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

Another tap in for Brazil… Neymar still soldiering on with a crushed ankle. 2 - 0

re Neymar, it’s pathetic really and does detract from the game. The authorities really should be clamping down on this sort of shit…

Controversial Opinion

It’s not good to see, but I partly understand it.

He pretty much gets kicked up in the air from the first minute of every game. At the last WC it was apparent that most teams went out to injure him, with players taking turns to clatter him - culminating in that atrocious ‘challenge’, which went unpunished, and resulted in him having a broken back.

I want to watch the best players play football. Like him or not (and I get why people don’t like him), he’s a fantastic player. If I wanted to watch people get kicked lumps out of I’d watch kick boxing.
