:gov: Boris Johnson is Still the Prime Minister

Is the end nigh

A majority of 19k down to 4K albeit hardly anyone was arsed to vote

However the Tories got 64% last time round - only 51% this time

Shift to the left or a silent protest from the faithful

Reform picked up 6% and came third

I think the turnout is too low for any conclusions to be drawn. A by-election when the government has a huge majority is not going to excite most voters as nothing is really at stake.

Remember that 37% will do you if the other numbers turn out right.

51% would have secured the candidate under AV in one round.

We’re not there yet.

Oh, my…the best bit of comedy to come out of parliament in ages. Embarrassingly funny :joy:

Seems like the chickens are finally starting to come home to roost for Johnson and chums.

One thing Boris is absolutely shite at is dealing with fall out

He doesn’t take it on and kill it off - he just bumbles through and makes it worse

When there are no credible alternatives in his own party and that party has no credible parliamentary opposition, let’s face it…it doesn’t matter a flying fuck what he does.

The best things that ever happened to Boris were Remain and Keir Starmer. They have rendered him invulnerable.

I’m not sure

I’m sick of him - I want him gone and I probably won’t vote if he stands another election

Who would you envisage replacing him?

Fuck knows
