I wonder if Gove is behind all of this. He was reported a while back to be “on maneuvers”. He is thick as thieves with Cummings as well.

If it was untrue, they would be denying it.

The Prime Minister’s approval ratings among Tory activists have plummeted since he tried to dodge self-isolation, a survey found yesterday.

The poll by the Conservative Home website found Boris Johnson’s rating had dropped from 39.2 per cent last month to just 3.4 per cent, taking him into the bottom five members of the Cabinet.

The fall follows controversy over Mr Johnson’s attempt to avoid self- isolation after he was identified as a close contact of Health Secretary Sajid Javid, who tested positive last month.

They are setting him up

Get ready for Prime minister Gove and spad Cummings

Please no…

It’s proper punch in the face or kick in the balls stuff

I’m hoping they go for Gove. The next leader of the Labour party may stand a chance then.

The Chairman is Churchill’s grandson ffs & the quotes attributed to Churchill in the article are perhaps the tip of the iceberg

This article has some good further links.

A product of his age? Yes. A figurehead when the UK needed one, Yes.

Lionising him in this day and age is probably not a good look, especially if you have researched and written a biography of him and you are the Prime Minister of the UK.

Wage rises are happening at the same time as inflation though, which might mean that we’ll raise interest rates to pre-crash levels. A lot of mortgages are going to be fucked at that point.
