:gov: Boris Johnson is Still the Prime Minister

Fair point. But only on an internet football forum maybe?

Lefties get upset against any perceived injustice in this world, so why wouldn’t he get upset? TBF I’m not imagining @pap crying into his quinoa with soy milk or whatever lefties eat nowadays, but to say a leftie shouldn’t get upset about a word that could be perceived as something slightly racist is certainly the wrong way to look at it.

Almost as bad as a world where people seek confirmation of their bias!

Absolutely fair enough to engage different sources. I watch Novara Media and The Spectator’s YouTube channels.

For real life, Facebook is the closest it gets online - a far better representation of public opinion than the Mail, which let’s face it, is going to attract attention seekers looking to one-up each other.

I used to have all of the papers on my newsfeed but dumped the tabloids a while back. When you search for a story or subject though it will throw up all kinds of sources so I still get to see some tabloid coverage, which, in the interest of fairness, isn’t always rubbish. It is also interesting to see how the right wing press handle negative right wing issues.
I did work for The Spectator for 3 years when it was under the wing of The Telegraph for sales and distribution (BoJo was editor at the time) but I struggled to read it then and have only managed to read a couple of articles in it since.
I would love for there to be an element of the print media that was non-partisan. Unfortunately the nearest we are likely to get if a new title was to come along and cover every story and opinion piece with at least two different journos with opposing views. Never going to happen so we are stuck with a print media that panders to its own demographic.

Why is he worried about going to get a haircut? It normally looks like he has been assaulted by a hover mower at the best of times. The fact that he pays a professional hair stylist to do that is very worrying.

Yep all of us here were shouting about this at that time…you don’t ever pursue herd immunity without a vaccine.
That attitude fucked up the economy much worse than locking down early and effectively.
Our initial Lockdown was a farce.

Just the initial one??

Yep both but the initial in context of the video.

If it’s any consolation they’ll fvck up the next one as well

One of our clients got in touch to advise that a few of their employees want to travel to India for a few weeks to look after relatives and wanted to know whether their insured staff benefits would be impacted (probably not)

Regardless of the rights or wrongs and wanting to do the right thing for your family, it still seemed a strange thing to do given the Covid situation there.
