:gov: Boris Johnson is Still the Prime Minister

I looked but could not find it ?

I think it might be a case of ‘fat thumb’ when using the @ function.

When have i asserted that ALL brexiters are idiots?

I think you might want to look at the whole “religion of Brexit” line.

Whether you realise it or not, you’re implying that stupid folk believe irrational things, which is rather fun, because “religion of Brexit” is a bit irrational in isolation.

Point taken. Although i still feel that for SOME, Brexit is like a religion. And, to the best of my knowledge i have never used the word ‘stupid’ to describe Brexit supporters, not my style. Anyway, lets move on.

Just been watching Johnson in the HOC giving a statement on the Grenfell fire tragedy. He said this stage of the inquiry looked at what happened. The next stage will look at why it happened, and will consider why concerns raise by residents were ignored. Johnson was mayor of London for most of the time resident’s concerns were ignored. He presided over fire station cuts. It is important to remember that Johnson closed 10 fire stations in London, cut 25 fire engines and 500 firefighters jobs. When, in the London Assembly, he was challenged on the increased risks this would bring to the people of London, he replied, “get stuffed”. This information should be printed up and posted to every single household in London.
Today, in his statement he kept repeating over and over again, “it was the cladding”. Fire doors were broken, alarms didn’t work, smoke extractors were broken, fire extinguishers were out of date. Cladding may have caused the fire to spread, austerity locked the victims in a death trap. But i think we all know that this will be ignored.

Comic timing at its best…

I prefer my comedians not to be cretins.

She’s probably a Labour activist so her first hand experience and views don’t count.

I can see Boris getting considerable amounts of grief as he campaigns over the coming weeks.

He got booed out of Addenbrookes Hospital today by staff, patients and campaigners. BBC news reported the visit on radio4 without mentioning this at all. They just led with a puff piece about how much Johnson was going to invest in hospitals. What a disgrace they are. I have put a link to his reception at Addenbrooks over on the GE thread.

I watched the video.
It’s all very Theresa May 2017 just quicker than she managed, so he’s got that going for him.

You just know if that was Corbyn being booed out of a hospital the video would have been played on a loop by the BBC from now until election day. Yet Johnson today, not mentioned. What a disgrace they are.

Ah. So obviously, Momentum track his movements and then flood the venues with scripted activists just before Boris arrives…

:lou_facepalm_2:

Did they plant the medical student too? Good planning to make her study so hard for years but a waste of effort, no?

Oh yes of course they did.

(Which is what is being peddled by staunch Tory supporters this morning on my FB feed)

Gotta love the way Elections bring the Nation together.

:lou_facepalm_2:

lol. I suppose if Momentum can organise for Boris to be booed wherever he goes for 6 weeks then really they SHOULD be running the country.

This thread is funny. How the fuck was Arcuri’s grant signed off by Boris on the back of this application?
