šŸ‘Ø šŸ‘ØšŸ½ šŸ‘ØšŸæ Black Lives Matter protest

I haven’t said anything of the sort, I said what I said (or wrote) you and Tasmania either didn’t read what I wrote or more worryingly don’t have capacity to do so.

No one is free of prejudice. Pie isn’t defensive of anything, he is merely pointing out and correctly shutting down conversation drives it underground and does nothing for our learning, did you get offended for Rotherham? Oxford or many others? Do you get offended for merely things that purport your actively known or subliminally conscience and agenda?
What do you do about the slave trade in the UK now? Or elsewhere?
Guardian readers are laughable in their World conscience which expands as far as Wandsworth on a clear day from Islington.

Please can you rewrite your post in English and articulate your point so that its comprehensible… then I may be able to respond

You point your indignation and outrage selectively to fit your agenda knowingly or not.

what agenda? please elaborate… as this is amusing

Your bias agenda on racism. I never saw any outrage concerning anything before this, its selective, you’re late to the party.

Please tell me what my agenda is? I am all ears as you are not making any sense…

Your agenda is one of bias, in short you’re biased.

But you’re human, we’re all biased.

What am I supposed to be biassed towards/against?

You’re biased in the way you bring to the fore Black lives matter which is correct but you’ve always been silent on Rotherham, Oxford and many others, have you always been concerned about Black lives or has it taken this American action to awake you? Africa is and has been a place of genocide for centuries.
Is this more about you than the people you supposedly care about (now), I’ll be honest I don’t think you actually know what you want and what you’re saying, what are you even proposing?
You haven’t proposed anything yet and few actually disagree with actually no one I know disagree’s with Black lives matter, but what do you want?

You are fucking strange… this is a thread about Black Lives Matter, read the title. But you seem to be replying to some imaginary post, as it makes fuck all sense as a response to mine…

You seem unable to grasp a very simple concept… that you and your constant griping about folks who YOU think are on some ā€˜right on’ mission, the 'PC gone mad brigade ’ of yesteryear…(see Pies latest taht you posted) the constantly offended blah blah blah… are distracting from the issue itself… so what if a few guadianista are getting offended by everything… seriously, at least they raise the issue… Those making these folks the focus of their whining could be assumed to be less bothered about the issues themselves…

As for the rest of your waffle asking about my how long I might have been concerned about these issues, 1) that has fuck all to do with my point, and 2) you are distracting again…

Did they raise the issue about Rotherham?
You’re a bandwagon jumper, maybe some of us have been exposing and advocating the same rights for all the World over for years, you appear to blinker yourself.
I bet you can’t even tell me what Black lives matter is? To me its a Western organisation that centres on Western lives, what about Black lives in Eritrea? Sudan? Female emancipation in Niger?
You’re better off if you have western guilt joining and giving money to amnesty intl or many other good causes that help people at a huge disadvantage.

You haven’t answered what you want from this movement either.

You don’t like Pies video as it refers to you, you’ve called me a racist before totally without cause to as you didn’t agree with me, I think you should look in the mirror.

This is just too ridiculous… you really are not worth the effort.

This struck me as vindictive, and smacks unpleasantly of bullying. Without actually quite saying so, the piece seems to imply that the estate of Nina Simone doesn’t consider the actress black enough to play her, while Zoe Saldana herself makes the point that she views herself very much as a black woman. But she is now apologising, after previously defending her performance and her right to portray the singer. I can only think that the BLM movement and the environment it has produced has pressured her into the sickly apology. I also notice that the IMDB rating for the film is 2%, which must be some sort of record. Can the film really be that appalling?

Me and the tame Geordie on board have started a protest of
ā€œWhite Lives Matterā€ as we are being victimised in having to do 2 weeks quarantine whereas the local Malaysians only have to get a swab test before they come or go offshore.

Last night I watched ā€œThe Australian Dreamā€ (on BBC iplayer) which was shown last week. Its a compelling but shocking insight into the wholesale, endemic racist attitudes in Aus towards indigenous people.

The focus is on top AFL star Adam Goodes, an aboriginal player, who took a stand and was treated abysmally during matches and afterwards by large chunks of the population, as recently as 2015.

If you have any interest in BLM and / or Aussie sport, it is well worth a watch.

The treatment of the aboriginal peoples in that part of the World have often gone unheard as its quite bluntly not in America.
