It is a difficult one but freedom of speech comes with responsibility. There have to be boundaries and rules. What they are and who enforces them is the problem. We have a legal structure but it clearly doesnât work that well because people abuse social media by their thousands every day. Not just the big ones like Twitter and FB, but football forums, gossip forums etc.
Banning is intolerance also and a failure win a debate by words.
Cancel culture does nothing to advance ideas and stop extremism.
You never answered my question concerning religion exposing hatred on social media.
You donât believe there are certain limits and things we should be intolerant about? There were plenty of cogent arguments opposing Trumps views but it didnât stop him whipping up a mob and inciting them to riot did it?

Now it is most likely charges will be brought what they are and against whom we can only speculate.
SOME opinions have been expressed saying that what Trump posted amounted to Sedition. What IF a court found Trump posted (and continued to post) statements that are judged criminal.
Then surely the Platform would also be held liable?
I dont see it as censorship tbh. I see it as legal counsel giving advice.
