England have announced an unchanged side for the next test starting on Thursday at Headingley. I think Roy and Denly can consider themselves fortunate that they play for Surrey and Kent. If they played for, let’s say, Glamorgan or Derbyshire they wouldn’t be near this test side.

Would swap them in the order tbh. Or even cut out the middleman and let Root open.
They wont
But fun to watch Jofra on a swinging Headingly green top.
New thread maybe?
Steve Smith out of this Test because he is still suffering from concussion. Let’s hope we can take advantage and level the series.

Probably the best. You know the minute he came into bat Archer would come on and first ball would be head height and 97 mph

Has to be Spoty International Sportsman of the Year contender!
Ooh, another one from Surrey is the next in line. There’s a surprise!
Well its a pity he wasn’t called up yesterday , instead of scoring 221* against Hampshire.

Like an homage to JJ Abrams’ signature lens flare in a Star Trek cosplay porn shoot, the toss hits the camera.

England win toss, bowl
England have won the toss and chosen to bowl with heavy cloud cover over Headingley for the start of the third Ashes Test.
Joe Root said the conditions were the driving factor behind the decision to put Australia in to bat.

Warner goes for 61, he overturned a caught behind to Broad in the previous over but was not so fortunate against Archer.
