What is wrong with me? To find out I need to play Bazza cliche bingo
As a southern Nancy it’s obviously impossible for me to get so ANGRY about football as I have obviously no PASSION
Southerners can never be as passionate as northerns about football
Despite working class roots, I am now middle class and should be watching egg chasing at Twickers instead…
Blah blah
TBH, I have struggled to get ANGRY about football and Saints being shit since my balls dropped as I do think the idea of adults getting so upset about it rather odd…because as we all know you get to a certain age and discover that there is plenty of real important shit to deal with and football becomes a bit of an escape from it…
First half we were crap. Second we improved but damage done. Will we go down? Possibly? Will the world end? No Will Bazza feign all angry web troll northern passion bollocks? Certainly
The 3 shtiest teams go down each year. And the table currently suggests we are one of them. We can’t do anything about it and trolling folks on here will not elevate us out the drop zone.
Whether the ownership structure and club strategy has contributed to this state of affairs is a reasonable question to ask… BUT when attempting to answer (on a thread about that subject) at least base your opinion on some facts… not on innuendo and pure conjecture Barry… and you do really only need to state it once not after every defeat or several times when we are losing playing shit…
But it’s not over yet… I would save your energy and emotion for something that actually IS important.
Didn’t expect a win, but a point would have been good. Struggling to see where the goals will come from to keep us up, especially with the defence having at least 2 or 3 brainfarts every game. It’s between us and Cardiff (maybe Brighton) for that last spot and i reckon it could go to the wire.
No not at all, I state an opinion Northern clubs in the main are far more vocal about their support and love for their club, it may still be there in the Southern ones but it is not so apparent, the Dell change it an awful lot as well along with all seating.
We have a far far higher tolerance to putting up with shit and coming out with the “there’s more too life” mantra.
I miss the Dell, the current soulless bowl was such a wasted opportunity, we could have made something smaller yet far more unique, there are some tremendous modern grounds or old/new grounds in the Country, St Marys is poor even by modern standards.
How do you define this and why are northerners better at being ‘club lovers’? Maybe they have more time, after all not much competition I would imagine for their love… ? !
Ahhh how we all miss the gay, lighthearted Barry Sanchez of old. Maybe the steady stream of witty banter and shaggy dog stories we all came to love in the jokes thread no longer fits the current BS forum remit.
