Do people understand now my point of view? Stephens in this game is a classic example of a fucking charlatan of a footballer, Targett as well, if we were a gambler we’d be that bellend twisting on 17 and sticking on 15, this game against Fulham is worth £100 Million on Wednesday, I hope Gao is aware that in him not investing has jeopardised our status and the clubs future.
We had nothing in this game that inspires me to change my mind and why oh why does Hassenhutl persist with Stephens, every manager has one but Stephens is so so bad I long for Hoedt so how bad can that be? I mean we’ve pulled out all the stops here for having quite possibly our worst ever back 4 and at a push our worst XI in at least 40 years.
That is some achievement from where we were 4 years ago and how shit we were in the early 90’s.

OK, as you wish. I had the misfortune to be at the home match against Charlton in April 2009. We were in administration and had been docked 10 points, but were still in a position to be relegated by that penalty rather than suffer it the next season.
We faced the bottom club at home. We lost 3-2 with scarcely a whimper. Today’s team would have steamrollered the sorry bunch that played that day. Far more skill, far more fight. I couldn’t name the starting line-up or subs from that game, but I could look them up if you like.
On a broader point, your initial assertion is nonsensical because it’s far too wide. The worst team in over 40 years? Seriously? I’ve named, with consumate ease, a Saints team that were far worse than today’s. We had four seasons in the Championship, culminating in that fucking awful season from which I’ve picked just one game (there were plenty of others every bit as horrible).
Oh, and I’m not interested in name-calling. And the size of my bollocks is between me, my ever-loving wife and my tailor.
