❄ Are you a woke bloke? (MoM approved)

This.
MSM can’t even report events or Politics accurately (we have a thread about that) so making a stand about MSM not reporting accurately on a single topic is somewhat tilting at Windmills.

Now. If Para- Olympics can sort itself out and have classifications without causing offence, why cant this issue be dealt with the same way?

Nah, the answer to that is simple, wont get one though.

Ignoring concerns of a majority has never been a good way to drive change/acceptance imho

I suspect that there wouldn’t be enough transgendered people to do a trans Olympics, and even if there were, representation wouldn’t be worldwide.

Maybe not just trans people olympics, why not for trans and anyone that is happy to compete against trans people? That way those that think it is perfectly fair can compete in these olympics. I am being serious, if some athletes don’t mind then they should be free to enter. It should be a free choice

Until trans women to men start competing and thrashing bio men, then I am calling bullshit on trans men to women competing against bio women

I would happily watch the Translympics as long as it has the tagline: Wrong’uns with Long’uns

A story.
Once upon a tie I took my entire MEA Sales Team to Bangkok for our annual sales meeting. Obviouly the EMEA HR VP came to oversee and ensure that we stayed PC and we did have some strict rules.
I worked quite hard on them with the senior female in the team and the VP.
Rule 1 was simple. No expenses to be claimed
Rule 2. was simple. The team went everywhere together
Rule 3. IF team members voted to visit a Go-Go bar that had naked people in it, then the other team members could demand they went to an opposite sex venue.
It was entertaining and educational and on the final night, female team member said - we have been to Go-go & been to Gay Bar, so IF the team want to go to any entertainment venue it can only be and “inbetween venue.”

Our group of was about 60:40 male to female. The Alpha Males were exhibiting major negative waves on entering.
After we sat and watched for a bit (no naughty show in those days just the “dresses”) the girls invited about 6 or so “boys” over and started a discussion about “their life”
The Alpha Males actually listened but with clenched buttocks (still funny even now)

Anyway the INTERESTING fact was, all the boys were Pre-Op, but had had hormone & Bewb jobs.
We earnt that over half of them chose this “life” as a career choice NOt because of their hormones. For them, from small villages, they could sign up and make (for them) a fortune. Most planned to work for 3 or 4 years, and sent their money home, and planned to undo the bewbs before returning to their village.
The remainder were all working so they could afford to complete the transition and all held a dream of meeting the “right” Falang" and getting married.
We moved on to Angelwitch, Bangkok’s 31 rated bar in those days, owned by a German and his post-op wife.
They were incredibly happy, and successful. She was a hugely talented choreographer and their shows were good enough (and in those days tame enough) for my ex wife to allow our kids to go watch.
She did not “IDENTIFY” as Trans, she was a “woman”. She would never set foot in an MMA ring, she was 5 feet tall in her high heels.

In these wake days and debates I look back on what we leanred and wonder. How many of the “big msm” stories that shock could be resolved by asking a simple question - when is your Op?

But then that isn’t woke, that doesn’t cover the Casper the Athlete question, but my guess is IF a woke way of asking that question could be found, fewer “Trans identifying males” would be accomodated in female prisons or MMA cages.

(Yes I know it is a much bigger issue but it was useful context hearing from real people)
Yes I know, they all knew Ladyboy Saint

Oi I take offence at that

I’m pretty sure this would be an unacceptable question to ask said parties and self-interest groups. It’s all about the individual and their life choices and “legal rights” (whatever they are) & sod everyone else, innit.

Not right factually or not right morally? Are we allowed to separate facts from morals anymore or is anyone who states biological anatomical facts immediately a trans-phobe?

Ask JKRowling - she found out the hard way

Starmer was let off the hook with that question. Marr should have asked him why it’s not right.

I’m pretty sure she doesn’t give a shit. Neither did her sales numbers.

That was the first question I thought of when I read the article.

I think that’s all that’s needed really - one interviewer to really dig down and make them explain.

What’s a good answer for this? The most honest answer is actually “I’m subscribing to a consensual delusion”.
