And plenty of meat-based food from supermarkets is utter dog shit too. To be honest, we in the developed world need a proper reappraisal of our relationship with food. Far too much processed shit of all kinds, be it meat- or plant-based. And yes, far too much meat.
Yes, Iâm sure itâs doing you far more harm than all the fags you smoke.
Donât get me wrong, a lot of supermarket meat (processed product)?is waterpumped rubbish- the stuff they are flogging with the now trendy âveganâ label often deserves its place at the bottom of the worst cess-pit in hell
Edit: yes we have tried a few of Sainsburyâs and M&S offerings and have been mostly disappointed.
If people want to be vegan I have no problem with it. I DO have a problem with most of the supermarkets cutting the amount of gluten free food they stock to make way for plant based stuff. Vegetarian/vegan is a choice, gluten free is a medical necessity
Sympathise with you on that definitely, but just to correct you slightly, for some avoiding dairy (and even meat) is also a medical necessity
Yes I totally understand that, especially as I am also lactose intolerant. What I am annoyed about is the fact that the big stores jump on whatever the latest bandwagon is, and for many it is a choice, at the expense of other groups who are very poorly served
There appeared to be a plant growing under your unused seat tonight.
Sad but true.
What would happen if we started eating vegans?
We wouldnât get scurvy
Wouldnât it be great if they turned out to taste like chicken.
Is that Dejan lovren?
It isâŠunfortunately the rest of his head is in Anfield.
Oh ffs - this is why everyone should vote in local elections otherwise you end up with this sort of thing
I reckon all future council events will be pretty poorly attended
I actually eat a load of vegetabilist product but rarely highly processed fake meat product.
A small part of me hopes that it isnât just the cost of some of the poor shite on offer that is turning people off.
