I’m pleased to report that after my winter sunshine escape to the Land of Smiles was so rudely interrupted by a bout of pneumonia a week before I was due to fly off back in November, I have been deemed by the medics as sufficiently recovered, so I am flying out to Bangkok this Sunday, 29th. I can’t wait to breath in some warm air, one of problems with recovering from pneumonia is that breathing in cold air is bloody murder on my lungs, it hurts. I have been wrapping a scarf round my face when I go out but it’s still hard work. So two months in the sun is just what the doctor ordered. I’m having a week at a friends place on the outskirts of Bangkok to chill out and get acclimatized, then plan on doing a few Islands. Away for two months, coming back in the first week of April, when hopefully Spring will have sprung. Bring it on.
Be really interested in reports in post Covid Bangkok & Thailand.
