True story.
In late June we added some Chicks to the Egg Production facility. They wandered & were interactive with humans. Last week 2 of them paid for their refusal to go indoors at night when a Fox visited.
Since then they have roamed but came when called to be safely locked away.
The Chicken Shed was upgraded with internet and an automatic door last week. It is at the back of the house.
Just now a Chicken jumped onto our balcony and tapped the window urgently. Anna Hughes went out picked up Chicken came indoors. (Kitten looked on in shock.)
She took chattering Chicken out the back door & to the shed where her sisters were sitting squawking at them both - as they had been locked out by the internet.
So yes a Chicken was sent to our front balcony to get Anna to put them safely to bed.
And they’re supposed to be dumb? (Yes they are bigger now but not yet adults).
We are somewhat Gobsmacked

The dogs have been killing my wild Tucoo’s.
These little reptiles kill all the mosquitoes and other vicious insects we have.

Singular because one is now fatter than the rest and i am certain we only had five now there is six so one may have already populated the pond. Waiting for more
