This was discussed on Question Time last night, much to my surprise. James Cleverly was really struggling, desperately trying to pass it all off as of no consequence, the audience from Brighton were openly sniggering at him. In the end he basically admitted it was true when pinned down to categorically deny it. I see Rupert Lowe was one of the candidates to take the Tory shilling, he left it until, literally the last minute before the deadline for candidates to declare before announcing he would not be standing, thus denying Farage the chance to replace him with another candidate. So i think we can confidently expect it will soon be Sir Rupert or Lord Lowe.
If these clear examples of attempts to rig the outcome of an election by means of bribery were happening in a Central American country, Johnson and the rest of his gang would be lining up to decry it for what it is, ie, corruption. The hypocrisy and double standards are sickening. This current far right government is corrupt, rotten to the core, and for the sake of all that is decent they need to be got rid of.
Release the Russian report.

The Russian Report gathers importance with every passing day. This should be the cornerstone of attacks on the Tory Campaign and anyone of the voting population with half a brain should be shouting for its release.

If it’s released and there’s nothing to incriminate the Tory Party…it could win an election for them.

Tories everywhere should be calling for its release too.

Watch a longer version of the clip.

He loses the plot. He’s completely stumped by the question.

Lol. He would have been better off saying ā€œI’m not relatable in the slightest. Most of those whose vote I seek will never know the luxury and privilege I have enjoyed every moment of my sheltered life.ā€

I struggled with the shorter clip to be honest. I walk out of the room when he is on TV talking (but that’s what I do with most Conservative / Brexit / Lib Dem and even some Labour MPs now).

Popular…

But the devil is in the detail…

It looks like 32% are ā€˜crazed communists’. Blimey, who would have thunk it!

Crazed Communist Schemes.

Have i missed any?
At some points in time the Tories opposed the vast majority of the above, for the same ideological reasons.

Don’t know quite what to make of this news, it has the potential to be interesting to say the least. I bet Cummings and co are quietly panicking because there is no way they will stop Trump giving his thoughts on the election. This can only be a win situation for Labour. One of the sharper Journos will surely ask him a leading question and off he will go. There’s no saying what he will come out with.

You lot have truly lost the plot, flapping around about this internet stuff.
The STATE intends to control your Internet. That is what you should be dusting pitchforks off for.

On line spying is and always has been worse in 5eyes countries(Snowden proved it). The legal ā€œget aroundā€ is the reason why they are allowed to run our kids over and flee(illegally) with our FOs help.
That said protections do need to be put in place and the"get arounds" made illegal.

I’m not as paranoid about you about this, and I’m usually way more paranoid than you are.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s not out of any implicit trust of states. However, we know how far it has already gone after the Snowden revelations. Intelligence agencies embedded in big tech firms, loopholes in 5Eyes allowing information on anyone to be moved anywhere.

The former PM Theresa May introduced the most draconian legislation on the Internet, which allowed the state to spy on its own citizens, forced ISPs into keeping tabs on the government’s behalf and probably got Ms May her dirtbook for victory.

The Labour policy is to install broadband for everyone, born out of an idea that in 2019, it ought to be a universal right.

Early in our friendship bletch asked me what now seems a difficult question about how I was relatable to him. I told him I wasn’t. He was a filthy, poor, bin content eater from Gosport, I wasn’t so get over it. We’re friends to this day and I’m still better than him.

A sobering analysis of why parties that are aligned on the biggest issue of the day should work together and not against each other.

Probably, no definitely, the clearest analysis there is. Thanks

The thread says that Lord Falconer made the police aware - not Farage or Widdecombe.

Widdecombe previously alleged that she had been contacted by someone ā€œat number 10ā€ and offered a seat in the Brexit negotiations in return for standing down as a Brexit PPC.

This is a serious accusation and would amount to (more)? electoral fraud.
