\This is a bit like Lib Dems joining the Tories - eg Liz Truss - why? Because its often their only chance of being elected.
I would chuck Christain Wakeford in as the Labour Right, considering he was elected on a Tory ticket

Starmer sacks Sam Tarry the shadow transport minister for joining RMT picket line. The sooner this fucking wooden cunt is fucked off the better.
Now now. You can’t have Labour frontbenchers supporting the labour movement. We all know this, surely?
What do you expect when 87% of your working class party are in fact middle class
Yeah, there’s Tory middle class and there’s Labour middle class.
Most of the former would support Tarry’s sacking. Most of the latter wouldn’t. They don’t join the party to become Blairites.
Much as I detest Starmer, Jones doesn’t come across well there. (Mind you, very few do on twitter, what a contemptible platform that is.)
Starmer just doing what he’s told to do by Transport minister Grant Schapps. He called for Starmer to sack Tarry, Starmer obliged. He’s being played by the Tories, let’s face it the government are deliberately provoking a general strike, this is why Schapps refuses to meet transport unions, Education Minister refuses to meet teacher’s unions, Health Minister refuses to meet health worker unions, etc etc. They know by offering take it or leave it derisory pay offers this will provoke strikes, which will then be turned into ‘Who does the Labour Party support’, Tabloid newspapers piling in, ramping up the hatred of the workers, lying, and demanding the Labour Party condemn the strikers. Starmer of course will oblige, thus ripping the Labour Party apart, the Tories will then go to the country. Starmer is a useless, treacherous snake in the grass, who has been installed, (by dishonesty), as leader of the Labour Party by establishment figures like Mandelson and Blair to rid the Party of anyone to the left of themselves. They are Tories in all but name.
The only recourse left now to the working classes is anarchy, hit the streets, and It will happen sooner than people think.
Does anyone on this forum describe themselves as working class and if so when will the anarchy begin? And why are the “working class” always described in the 3rd person?
Surely anyone that works are working class?
Not sure about that
Is a consultant surgeon working class?
Is a Hedge fund manager working class?
The minister for 1837 is working - is he working class?
One of the issues is that people claim to be working class on account of their upbringing and not where they actually are today. Alan Sugar was working class, and has a working class background, but there is no way he can call himself working class today
I think the Working Class moniker is outdated - I think it had its place when there was very little social mobililty ie you were born, at 12 years old you when down the pit or into the mills and then you died.
People can be and are more socioeconomically mobile - and that is a better measure.
OK. If you have to work in order to pay the bills and survive and can’t afford not to work, then you’re working class - imho
Shades of grey
My Dad had a private education, my Mum was taught in the village school. I was post war Council House scum so I was working class? Confused.
The only people that aren’t working class on this forum are those that are fucking minted and don’t need to put in another day’s work in their life.
If you’re working to meet the day to day, you’re working class.
Maybe it should be a measure of average salary - anything less than 1.5 times average and you are working class - which would be amusing if only to watch the Aslef leadership spout on about their downtrodden middle class train drivers
You can have people earning £30,000 and believe they’re middle class and you can have people earning £100,000 who believe they’re working class, its a state of mind and where your sympathies lie not what you earn.
The same can be said for education and career/job, its where you lie politically, I have respect for people who lose out financially yet still will never vote tory, and I am baffled at why someone under £50,000 a year votes tory, selfishness and snobbery play a part.
I gain if the tories are in power but I hate the cunts and I hate their ideology, irrespective of being financially comfortably middle class (by my wife) I am proudly working class and will always be that.
The doctor we bought our house from earns a lot yet he’s labour through and through, I doubt that would be the same if mirrored down south, environment plays a part to a degree.
So you can be working class, middle class, upper middle or even upper it doesn’t really matter, what does matter is if you have a social conscience.
Apply to be a train driver.
dont earn enough
So why are you concerning yourself with what someone else earns?
