:labour: Where now for Labour?

Mason is a fucking madman, alternating from Keir’s fluffer to screaming fuck the Tories in the streets.

I bet that when he left Channel 4, his colleagues were glad.

Right, so call me a cynical old bastard, but there are by-elections next week and I’m thinking Tuesday would be the ideal time for Keir to get his fixed penalty notice. That way, there’s a day of media coverage before PMQs and if he hasn’t before then he’ll certainly be called upon to so in the Commons.

Let’s have it right. Keir Starmer has had his chance, lied through his teeth to become Labour leader, promised all sorts to everybody, has reneged on every promise he made. Has had two years to show what he’s made of, he’s dull, totally uninspiring, absolutely fucking useless. A waste of space. It tells you everything you need to know that the liar Johnson is ahead of him in any poll as to who is the best leader.
Any Labour leader, whether it be Corbyn, even Blair would have had no problem at all in condemning Patel’s final solution to the immigration problem by sending boat people to Rwanda, fascism in plain sight. But Starmer can’t bring himself to do it, is terrified of upsetting the Red Wallers, who are about the only supporters of the lying oaf left, as if they will ever vote Labour again! Mandelson is calling the shots, and he’s a right wing pillar of the establishment, the Labour Party as we know it is finished. Starmer has to go, otherwise we will be stuck with these corrupt Tory cunts for ever.

Out of interest, who would forum members like to see as the next Leader of the Labour Party? Assuming that Starmer doesn’t get a fine and contests the next election but loses?

Not an MP currently but Laura Pidcock. Into the same ideas as Corbyn. Nothing like the baggage.

I won’t be voting Labour (or Tory) so am not really too bothered tbh.

I would want someone from the centre left of the party - Its the scenario which is most likely to pressure the Tories and, if the fat twat is still in situ, it is most likely to deliver an offering that would be more palatable

I rate her too. But if she doesn’t have the baggage now she soon would have if she ever became Labour leader, the right wing of the party, the MSM would all be straight on her case, making up lies and scare stories with daily blanket coverage, just as they did with Corbyn, and as they would do to anyone with remotely socialist principles who had the temerity to stand for leader. Sadly I think that’s a given.

Well, I’m not even sure she has a route back into the party. FWIW, I agree with pundits that say that Starmer was never meant to be PM, just meant to have enough power to clear out Labour people from the Labour party.

Good for him, you tell em Clive. At least he’s not scared to nail his colours to the mast.

The Telegraph - “You have till 5 PM to comment”.
Who the fuck do they think they are? Any deadlines for Tory MPs to comment on the six figure sums they receive from Russian oligarchs? My God, the hypocrisy is breathtaking.

It’s pretty standard shit - they have printing deadlines. I have been on the receiving end before, with some weasel reporter thinking he had the story of the decade trying to pressure an answer out of us.

It’ll be Andy Burnham…

Not an MP either. Unless he becomes an MP or a peer he’s not eligible.

Looking forward to this tomorrow

I’m sure they’d wish to consult first with the CPS. After all, it’s not as though Starmer has any form there, no conflict of interest…
