Yeah I had a search for it and as you say, hard to find on Google Images. This is my picture from 2012ā¦
I got there by something like ācoastal monument horses riders -troy promenadeā and then hit upon someoneās travel blog talking about Izmir.
I had assumed it was a war memorial and that took me to Gallipoli and all sorts of dead ends.
I have got one but itās going to take a bit of obscuring before I can post. If anyone wants to jump it, feel free.

It was described as the Nation Tree and then when I zeroed in it was described as the Independence Day Monument, but Googling either on their own didnāt take me straight to it.
