Yes 'tis Iguaçu Falls, on the border between Brazil and Argentina. We were visiting friends in Foz Do Iguaçu. My mate was a cop and we went most places free of charge, he just waved his Cop ID Card. The inflatable trip under the falls was a freebie too, he knew the owners.

Well yeah ligged a bit but I did repay him by getting this gig for him…It was an hour program, this is the trailer in Portuguese but you get the jist of it.
In 2015 I got an email from a researcher working for a film production company here in the UK. They were looking for a VW engine builder in Brazil for a TV program they were making. The idea was to give this “adventurer” engine projects around the world…the adventurer being Jimmy De Ville. They’d obviously Googled, “aircooled vw iguacu brazil” and found my story on my website of our visit to our VW Cop friend Yel who lived in Foz do Iguacu. Yel was a VW engine builder and was the ideal man. He got the job of helping Jimmy de Ville to build an aircooled VW airboat to run a white water course up to The Iguaçu Falls.
In my 14 years in Bangkok, I never actually went there. It was in Soi 12…have a feeling it might have gone bust since Covid started.
Website still active 2 places listed in UK and many more across Thailand than my last trip in 2017
Last time i was in BKK i saw it was shut and was told it was up for sale as the owner was bust due to covid. Might have been taken over by someone new i guess.
